we only get 6 gumdrops per day, there's two things in tuxedosams shop for 1 gumdrop each leaving 4 per day. everything in my melody's shops is 10-15 gumdrops so far for me, how are we supposed to get everything? i already have a good amount of the furniture from trading thankfully, but i feel bad for players that haven't and i wanted extras! i've played since before last years but i wasn't active during the event so i didn't have anything.

2024.11.25 19:50 weepyclown I have to stop chasing the "sick enough" feeling
Brief context: 22 y/o male, been in recovery for several years but very up and down (but a lot of ups!), relapsed pretty hard a few months ago and have been preparing to re-enter recovery (at home, will be taking time off work starting in 2 weeks)
My ED is telling me I need to wait until after my doctor's appointment on Monday, and THEN I will be ready to recover. It's telling me I need to reach x weight and do x thing, which will somehow prove that I am worthy of recovery.
My therapist is pushing me to increase my intake now, not to wait another week, my behaviors have become more dangerous and I know that the more damage I do and the longer I wait, the harder it will be for me to get out of it. And I am in a lot of pain, not just mentally, but my body is exhausted, so I am very much ready to get on with recovering again.
But then there's that "not sick enough" mentality that always comes back up. And you'd think it would be obvious at this point that there is no truth to it, that even if I get to that arbitrary "sick enough" goalpost, it will just keep moving itself lower and lower. It's the reason I keep relapsing, just to catch up with it.
Sick enough doesn't exist and I certainly do not have anything to prove. So, I need to break it, sooner than later. I need to slowly increase my intake to avoid refeeding syndrome before I go "all-in" and I need to start today. Just like everyone is telling me, I've finally put it together.
I am determined to go home today and instead of only eating my planned "allowed" meal, I will add on more. AND I will start to work on decreasing my exercise compulsions. I don't know if I can be fully honest with my boyfriend and tell him I've been lying about my current intake because I feel so ashamed but I am ready to turn things around and do it now because I know postponing it won't change a thing.

Hello everyone,
My 10 year old pup was diagnosed with congestive heart failure a few months ago. He is very stable and has his personality back - although he has a completely new routine with medications and gets very limited exercise.
My partner and I have been seriously discussing purchasing a home together, since before my dog’s diagnosis, which I am very excited about. But, now that my pup has a heart condition, we are both concerned on the impact that us moving in together would have, as we both have dogs.
His dog is younger and more energetic than my dog. They have had multiple sleepovers and play dates before my dog was diagnosed with CHF, but since then we have not gotten them together as my dog has been adjusting and excitement is not the best for a dog with a failing heart.
Is anybody aware of if it would be a possibility to have a dog with CHF move living situations and live with another dog while also remaining stable? I understand that his condition will get worse over time whether or not he lives with another dog, and I know the adjustment will take some time and that I would have to keep a close eye on my dog’s exercise and rest levels to ensure he is happy and comfortable.
I am looking for advice/guidance on making this adjustment and would like to know if anybody has ever had to deal with something similar.

little bit of Legal trouble, just a huge misunderstanding I'm sure you understand and Sonias sister Bianca (39F Quite Violent) showed up (and illegally parked what I'm sure is a below health and safety standards food truck) outside our home
While Sonia was helping the authorities with their enquiries Bianca became unhinged. She was clearly in a mental health crisis and on more than one occasion became violent and aggressive, even so much as throwing a brick through my window (Which contrary to popular conceptions is a huge contribution to CO2 levels as glass production is a highly chemical volatile practice)
Bianca was becoming a danger to herself and others and started to believe I had something to do with why Sonia was helping the police so I, at my own expense, got Bianca (who was technically homeless) a private apartment which was actually quite spacious for London, with all mod cons and daily food deliveries. I asked her to stay here and focus on herself until Sonia was home and she's being completely unreasonable. She says things like "I'm evil" and "crazy" and even through appliances (that I paid for) at me and cut my head. My police friend Callum said I should press charges but I know Bianca isn't in her right mind and that Sonia would be upset if I did that so I didn't.
So tell me, Am I the A**hole for trying to help my partners sister?

i (24f) started hanging out in my brothers friend group this summer, and his friends have seen me a handful of times. my brother’s best friend (28m) is a nice guy who i dont talk to much but is polite and courteous any time we see each other.
friday night i got out of a kind of toxic and scary situation-ship with a guy who said “i love you” after knowing me for three days, and was harassing me and contacting me from various social media platforms, despite me telling him i didnt want to talk to him any more. i was depressed because i felt like i kept attracting the weirdest men (my ex became a racist asshat after we broke up). to console me my brother said there are plently of nice guys who would like me, and said “i wasnt gonna tell you this because i didnt want to make u uncomfortable but i think [28m best friend] likes u”.
i was surprised because i never got the feeling he liked me, but my brother said since hes a good friend, he would never do anything to make me or my brother uncomfortable, but my brother has gotten some hints he may be interested.
a week ago i got sick and went to the hospital one day too, and my brother said he texted my brother multiple times asking about my health. i said thats a pretty normal thing to do as a good friend, but my brother said his friends never do that even when they hear about each others family members getting sick, and they never follow up like that. ever since he met me, he apparently occasionally texts my brother and asks how im doing. and my brother said he cant remember exactly what hes said, but that this friend has spoken fondly of me before to my brother in a way that made him think he likes me and that hes “slipped” a couple times in the way he talks about me. this friends mom apparently asks about me to my brother too when she sees him, even though she never met me until yesterday. my brother also says im exactly his type, based on his previous relationship(s) and what he says he wants in a significant other.
its weird because i never ever got the feeling he likes me. hes nice and polite and i know a good friend to my brother, but hes never flirted with me or given me special interest at all. in fact, i was at his house yesterday and i felt like he even wouldn’t look at me. i asked him to show me where the washroom was and he didnt even look up at me. i also never thought he’d like me because im more quite and serious and he’s very funny, jokes a lot, and is way more chill.
my brother is convinced though but i have no clue why. so, for guys who have fallen for a friend’s sister, what would u act like? is there enough info here to draw a conclusion?
tldr: my brother thinks his friend likes me but i dont think he does
