I am 1 year post dday; finding out my WH cheated and hid things from me when we were dating. I have felt a range of emotions over the past year. Anger, depression, disgust, anxiety, horror... all of it.
The main reason I gave R a try is because he has been constantly changing and working on becoming a better person over the years... but he has also caused me lots of pain in the process. I wonder if all the improvements in the world will ever be enough for me anymore?
Beyond the betrayal of infidelity and lying for years, (which is emotional abuse in itself) he has also had moments of verbal abuse and just straight up breaking my heart with his behaviors a few times. In the past I justified it because I loved him so much and thought since he rarely acted out that it wasn't so bad.
I'm realizing now I just had weak boundaries and maybe was a bit emotionally codependent. I'm realizing how much I've tolerated in the relationship out of love because he does have a lot of good qualities, but I wonder if I was delusional thinking all the good could ever outweigh such serious bad, even if infrequent. I used to think the good outweighed the bad, but I'm not so sure anymore.
Dday absolutely ruined me and I had to pick myself up and rebuild my self esteem that was on the floor. I think because I've become stronger mentally and emotionally, I'm wondering why the hell I put up with so much dysfunction that I didn't deserve.
Does anyone relate?

yes, ive never went lactose free gluten free meat free or anything before, and i never had such an issue with my bowels ever

I'm currently in my electrical apprenticeship, working for the IT department installing their network trays, cabinets and cabling. I'm looking to move out of a labour based/ construction role and thinking of going to a 32 week automation certification on top of doing my schooling for electrical. I'm also open to taking some generalized course/certs with Rockwell or any other manufacturer to jazz up my resume.
My career goal is to have a hybrid role of office work and troubleshooting on site. Looking for advice on how to get my resume ready for that and what I should ask to learn in my current job working for the IT dept.

I just started a handheld weaving project with yarn on a cardboard loom because I was curious, and I'm enjoying it.
But the yarn I am using is a smaller weight (worsted) so i need a lot of it. How do I handle the amount of yarn efficiently? Do I just have to pull the full length through every time, or use smaller pieces at a time and keep tying on a new string? I feel like there's a better way to do it than this.

Everyone always talks about the Flanderization of characters in the most negative way and I resent that. I like that characters get flanderized, including Flanders! Not ever character has to be multi-dimensional, other wise you end up with a bunch of "wild cards" or "vanilla" characters. Yes I get that you can't Flanderize every single character, or sometimes a bad choice is made, but Flanderization in itself is not bad and everyone acts like it's the worst thing since their dog died.
