Over and over, I see people talking about "the rules of the pond" and "Elliot said the rules of the pond..." and even on the series, Elliot emphatically will say things like, "no, the pond cannot take you to the future." What I want to know is -- where does Elliot get all this "Rules of the Pond" knowledge?? He was a teenager when Alice first arrived in 1999, and he was just as astonished at the idea that she had time traveled. Yet, in later years he seems to be so sure of his knowledge of the Pond's rules. Do we know why he seems to be the one that is so knowledgeable about the pond's rules? And who ever said that there were any rules???

2025.01.18 22:52 Garofoli Do you find the faction warfare campaign rewards worthwhile?
As I've leveled up further and done more and more black zone content, I'm not feeling the drive to do faction warfare anymore.
The campaign reward chests are weak - for the time it takes to get all the faction points, I could have gotten far more money from most other content. I get like 100-200k per faction chest, it's super weak. Is faction warfare in red zones or bandit assault worthwhile? In terms of fame & silver
I've basically stopped doing faction warfare - anyone else feel the same?

2025.01.18 22:52 guitarman018 Leading pigs (and other animals? haven't tried yet) with a rope up a block is very difficult
Awesome to have the option to move creatures with a rope now, but the sow I found was a long way from home, and while they naturally fought the rope most of the way while I was connected to it it would take me an average of 10-20, even up to probably 50 jumps to get up a single block. It was as if I were being pulled away - even when the sow was not actively fighting it. Then getting them to jump up could take even longer. I could see them trying like I was, jumping many times and not climbing the block, until finally they would move up it. Is this intended behavior? It it just meant to be really difficult since it is potentially high reward? Or has anybody else noticed this just feels a bit buggy?

20, netherlands, male.
I live in a student city in a student house and man I am so done. I spent the last weeks just gaming and working on assigments and giving a hand to my president and im still not done with my assignment because of course little me wanted to be special and take on a difficult subject my housemates all have one night stands or are going in and out of relationships and here I am with my dick being below average: too big for sugery, but too small to be proud of it. I dont want to go out into the city, end up with a girl (I HOPE I can pull one when im wasted as hell) and then after a day I never see her again and she tells her friends about that guy with a small dick

I think my soulmate was a peasant who drowned in 13th century floods, thanks.
And tomorrow and the day after I need to study again for exames because I have not enough autism to get help but enough to not pull girls or study on time (Probably with enough stress I get a 6 now or on the resit, or maybe thats wishful thinking), and after that working to pay for my pos room and then study some more. how nice. it is that I am so sensitive I would cry if a drill sergent screamed at me, or I wouldve joined the reservists or military a long time ago.
My 'my friends' are planning a holiday without me. Or well, some friends with some people I do only vaguely know. I am a bit jealous, even though im also going on a holiday with my parents AND with a dispute of my study association. WHY CANT I BE CONTENT FOR ONCE
I want to go on exchange next year, but I fear that I will just spent 6 months alone, with no friends to speak of in my room then.
It just feels like im not on a ship, but also not on the land either, you know? When I was a teenager people told me that its normal, feeiling a bit alienated, but in your student years? What am I doing wrong? I want to live without doing hard drugs or joining A sororty which prolly results in me (almost?) choking on 1 litre fish oil. What am I doing wrong to deserve this? my days go just spending days. I dont think I have depression because I want to feel but I feel just the wrong things
before someone says, no, I do not want to pay my whole paycheck on alchohol because I know what a hangover feels like and I dont want to be a chainsmoker for the rest of my life just to feel a little bit better
