Hey all,
Iโ€™m working on upgrading the sound setup in our main living room and need some advice on in-wall speaker placement. Hereโ€™s the current setup: โ€ข TV: 77โ€ LG G3 (Yes, itโ€™s mounted too high, but itโ€™s to keep it out of reach from my two young toddlers. Drives me nuts, but the plan is to lower it in a few years.) โ€ข Inputs: Apple TV 4K and PS5 โ€ข Power: Already set behind the TV โ€ข HDMI Cords: Run in-wall to the cabinet on the right
Now, the dilemma: Iโ€™m debating between options for the front in-wall speakers: 1. Skinny in-wall speakers within the frame area of the TV. 2. In-wall speakers placed into the columns themselves. 3. LCR - 3 in 1 speaker below the TV 4. Leave this space alone as none of the options are worth pursuing)
Big picture: Im trying to upgrade the audio while also trying to keep the aesthetics committee happy with the overall look.
Would love to hear your thoughts. Which option would you go for, or is there something else I should consider?

So for whatever reason the driver side of the app will send people to the back alley. I have a message in there that warns people not to fall for it. NOW. For some reason people still do it, but what i dont get is. Where is the common sense? Where is the logic? You pull into a darkened alley way with fenced off backyards, maybe you should go to the actual street that is connected to the address. People get lost and the house is easy to find. Well lit, got address on full display, yet still people fail at something so simple. Help me understand so i can help them. Ill literally message them not to go that way and they still do. The person tonight couldnt find the house when literally pulled in front of it, they drove off and then drive around back into the dark alley. I just dont get it.

Hello I am a game composer and am planning on releasing an audio starter pack for RPG devs. I would like some guidance on how I should structure my pack, specifically on what themes I should write and how many of each would fit in a basic RPG game. Here are my notes so far:
Opening, Title, End Credits (1 song each)
Overworld/Travel (3 songs)
Town, Dungeon (5-7 songs each)
Battle, Basic Boss (3 songs each)
Final Boss (1 song)
Character (5 songs)
Event/Cutscene (5 songs)
I am aiming for the bare minimum amount of music someone could comfortably work with. I appreciate any input, especially if you have utilized game audio packs in your own work. Thanks guys!

Graphics/art style: Polygonal 3D
Notable characters: Unknown, Ensemble cast
Notable gameplay mechanics: Cubical 3D battle space. Arena fighting game. Humanoid players would levitate and use melee attacks and ranged spells. I am very weak on what type of spells there were, but it was just like a fighting game except this 3D gimmick was used. There was no other element to the game that I am aware of. There may have been RPG elements as you progressed through the arcade ladder of people to fight. That vaguely rings a bell. There may have also been pickups.
Other details: I used to think this was Persona, but surprised (yesterday) to learn it wasn't. Maybe a Persona demo or sample video was on the same demo disc.

2025.01.19 01:51 Disastrous-Status19 So tired of stressing over what I eat & what my babyโ€™s poop looks like :(

My daughter is 3 months old, sheโ€™s my second kid but my first time sheโ€™s breastfeeding. Sheโ€™s EBF because she refuses every single bottle, Iโ€™ve been trying and she just wont accept any. I exclusively pumped with my first since he was born early and spent time in the NICU.
My son had some minor CMPI but nothing bad. He was able to have dairy fine somewhere between 6-9 months old and has had it daily since. My daughter seems to have CMPI but way worse. Iโ€™ve been dairy & soy free for almost 2 weeks but then decided I should try soy to see if itโ€™s just dairy or also soy. I tried soy Tuesday & Wednesday and the bloody poops arrived Friday night. Iโ€™m now going to cut soy again.
Im constantly stressing about what Iโ€™m eating, reading labels, trying to avoid the triggers but itโ€™s so hard. Weโ€™re low income and all these allergen free foods are expensive so I canโ€™t buy a lot so Iโ€™m constantly hungry. Iโ€™m trying so hard but this is so difficult to manage with 2 under 2.
I just wish sheโ€™d take a bottle so I could have some help with feeding her. She fights nursing a lot lately and people tell me itโ€™s the 3 month breastfeeding crisis. Sheโ€™s also getting her bottom teeth so Iโ€™m sure that contributes.
Iโ€™m evaluating and inspecting every poop to see if thereโ€™s even a speck of blood or anything out of the ordinary. Why did I try soy again. She had no more blood and normal color poops, still runny and some mucous but otherwise doing good. Sigh. The constant anxiety and inspecting and stressing is really getting to me lately. If youโ€™ve made it this far, thanks for reading and listening to me vent :(
