I'm thinking of luring my step kids and their friends 10-12 years) into wargaming by running a small 4v1 game. Each kid has a small Good Guys elite unit (perhaps no more than two or three super soldiers) and I run a Bad Guy horde with a few hard hitters and maybe a final Boss to face at the end.
This, I imagine has several benefits: they can/should cooperate. They can all win. They don't have to keep track of lots of models and stats. And it will be thematically close to several video games.
However, how would you handle activation of units?
IGOUGO: this will be boring as they'll have to wait for me to move my many models.
Alternating Good Guys/Bad Guys: this will make it seem that I get to play much more than them because I get to move x times their number of players.
Their respective forces will be two units each, each super soldier is its own unit. Maybe a battle-pair.
Perhaps I'll just use a sequential activation and we'll just ignore the fact that the bad guys get so much fewer activations.
Any thoughts?

2025.01.22 11:32 Visual_Bottle_7848 How do I stop my truck clutch from dragging?
Got a 1992 f350 with a manual 5 speed and recently every time it gets cold (20F-10F) the clutch will drag and be just about impossible to get into gear, out of gear, and stop if I’m in a low enough gear. Today I had to shut off my truck so it didn’t drag me through a red light. When it gets up about 25F it will drag for a minute but then get better after driving it for a minute.
I’m not quite sure what I will need for it but any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi guys, just wanted to say goodbye and maybe my perspective is wrong but, also maybe helps the devs to understand why their game is almost dead after just few month of launch.
First of all, I never played ROA1. Played a lot of Smash, never truly competetive but thousands of hours all together (Melee, Brawl, s4 and ultimate) mainly Melee and Brawl.
At the beginning I loved Rivals2. Felt like a "finally an Smash game with good devs and proper netcode"
But time to time I realize that was all about the game.
Not gonna complain about the gameplay because that is just personal preference, I know so many people playing this game comes from high level Melee and love combos etc. I personally don't like how focused this game is on the combos, the hitstun this game has feels terrible to me. I loved the spacing and poke gameplay from brawl. This game is all about combos and, honestly, for play a combo game I rather prefer a traditional fighting game (Street fighter was aalways my main fighting game).
Characters for me has no carisma, at all. During the release I personally didn't like almost any of them visually speaking. Ended playing Zetterburn because I used to play Wolf and is like a copy and Kragg because I like big body chars and visually is the one I liked more. But, both of them didn't catch me enough. The rest of the (short) cast are not an option for me.
And then I saw Etalus from ROA1 and I loved, so on November I stopped playing the game and decided to wait till this character release with also more content.
I just came back yesterday and, basically everything remains the same. Since release, not even a single new map and honestly, I don't like any map too, not even something like final destination added yet, which sounds crazy to me. Game modes, the few that has are really boring. I usually don't touch the single player stuff on fighting games, but is always good to have something to chill.
When you play casuals or rankeds, 90% of the players you face are clearly people with quite decent level, there's not any casuals playing this game. I'm not a casual, but I'm also not a tryhard on platform fighters. Just wanted a game smash like to enjoy some games every now and then, but here you can't. Everyone playing is tryharding.
And finally, Etalus, the main reason to comeback, no idea how good or bad was in ROA1 but, just with few games you can feel how bad the character is. Hitboxes are terrible, kill potential is below average and being a big body is just to stupid, he is slow as fuck and well I just don't get how having characters like Zetter, Clairen or Kragg, which the three of them are very good and so easy to play, like, you must be retarded to not be able to play decent with those, then the dev team decide to release a character that bad. Is even worse than Forsburn at launch.
Anyways, lack of content in the game, lack of content on socials, lack of maps, lack of characters and dissappointing patches, made me decide to uninstall the game and seing the numbers on Steam seems like I'm not the only one.
And btw, don't get me wrong, even if tomorrow Etalus become SSSS tier tomorrow, I wouldn't comeback. The game lacks so many things and coming back after 3 month and see almost everything remains the same, made me quit.
Hopefully the game improve and give me a reason to comeback in the future, bye!

One is a millenia old traveling collector of frozen planets, an activity that presumably brings her into off-screen conflict with their respective Sailor Guardians (that she is well qualified to win). The other is, well, Galaxia, and IIRC it's indicated that by the time of Sailor Stars, Earth is the last planet in the galaxy left untouched by her, with the rest of the galaxy scoured clean of true star seeds, free Guardians, and suspicions of Kakyuu presence.
Do you think Shadow Galactica ever went after planets in Kaguya's collection, seeking to unfreeze and de-seed their frozen Senshi, and she either didn't notice, or was forced to back off? Or that Snow Kaguya has an amiable agreement with Galaxia, with both respecting each other's power and having no real bone to pick — so that whenever Kaguya claims a planet, she mails its Senshi to Galaxia, and Galaxia in turn doesn't meddle with Kaguya's activities? Or is Kaguya an outright minion of Galaxia, neglecting to mention that detail to 'our' Sailors because it had no relevance (and she's not the type to bring up the fact that she's subservient to someone else, out of nowhere)?
Or do you think Kaguya's journey, her being an allegory for a comet, was so slow that it took her hundreds or thousand of years to arrive to a planet, and there simply wasn't much opportunity for a conflict of interest, all of Kaguya's spoils being ancient history to Shadow Galactica by the time they went active?
At any rate, do you think Kaguya's attack happening right when it did could have been prompted by Galaxia, in order to gather intel/ripen the Senshi of Earth, just like she forced Nehelenia to return?

Other than the obvious of being able to tell the difference between colors lol. I've never been good at colors and warm vs cool tones and all of that, and I can't seem to find anything in some of these Kate Spade Outlet listings that explicitly says whether the hardware is silver or gold toned.
I'm looking for a medium sized bag that has the option to be worn crossbody that has silver colored hardware. I have destroyed all of my (two) bags that match this description over the years and I've been lugging around a very large shoulder bag for a while that is just way too big and awkward to carry around most places that I go.
A matching wallet would be a plus, too, but the most important thing is a bag. I'm looking at this right now and cannot tell which colors (if any) have silver hardware. It looks like the black might be silver?

Honestly, was lying in bed last night and thinking about the absolute shit show that Wolves are turning out to be this season, which in reality is just a culmination of bad decisions, strategy and ownership since Nuno left 4 years ago.
Then I kind of decided that I didn't really mind if we went down.
I like that I can watch all of our PL games I can't get to on TV, but maybe I'll just spend those Saturday afternoons in the garden listening to it on Wolves player like I used to.
I like that we are able to sign a host of international players, but maybe I'd prefer to watch players who are technically far less gifted, but give their all and play for the team and the shirt rather than just for themselves and their next career move. Who use their energy to help the team rather than throw hissy fits.
I like being in the top league, but maybe I'd prefer a match day with less media hype/coverage that's more tailored to the loyal fans (like not tinkering with kick off times for the international audience).
I like watching us play against the 'best' teams in the country, but I do miss the experience of visiting and playing some grand old football clubs up and down the country that are still alive and kicking, despite financial squeezes and the national media pretending only a small handful of the richest clubs are noteworthy.
I like that Fosun invested in us bravely in the first few seasons and got us up to the top level, but maybe it's poetic justice that they take the hit to their asset and realise that their stupid plan of trying to run the club at a significant profit is indeed stupid, and sell up.
I'd like us to stay up, but if a relegation is what it takes to break this unworkable model that Fosun are trying to implement then let the cards fall where they may.
Just my thoughts. Anyone else?
