My 5yo kitty Booby has been either sick/injured for about a week and a half now, been to multiple vets had blood tests, x-rays, etc.. everything looked relatively normal and we can’t seem to figure out exactly what’s going on- her symptoms include lethargy, loss of appetite, not using the box (specifically not pooping) but most of all she seems to be having a lot of trouble getting up/walking around which is believe is the cause of most of her other symptoms because she will eat if her food its brought to her. i basically had a week long anxiety attack because we could not figure out what was going on with her!! the current theory is she injured a muscle in her back legs playing with our kitten. mercifully she’s been improving over the last couple days, she’s been getting up and walking around a bit and she’s able to go to the litter box on her own now. now at this point my biggest concern is her water intake. i haven’t physically seen her drink any water all week, however me and my partner both work all day so there’s a chance she has been drinking from her fountain while we’re gone but i’m pretty sure she still just sleeps the entire day because she’s usually in the exact same spot when we get home. i have been adding water to both her wet and dry food and she usually eats a solid amount of it so i know she’s at least getting a little bit of hydration but i’m just wondering if it’s enough? her skin elasticity is pretty decent but i know if cats are dehydrated they tend to not rehydrate themselves. we have several water bowls and a fountain that i change often (she’s also very skittish and will not take water from a syringe) if anyone has and advice on getting her more hydrated or even just ideas on what could be going on at all it would be greatly appreciated! i have been a wreck all week because she’s my baby and she saved my life so i want to make hers as good as it possibly can be and i feel like im doing a terrible job.

2025.01.22 17:06 TylexTy feeling the effects after even 1 full night's sleep with CPAP
I had moderate sleep apnea and I've really been wrestling to use the CPAP machine for a full night's sleep. I take it off because I still wake up about 4 times through the night (sometimes hungry, sometimes for no real reason it seems). But last night I got 7 and 1/2 hours with the machine on and I feel like a whole different person. I've been so depressed and brain fogged and just unwell, and I'm cautiously optimistic that a lot of my 'problems' were from untreated sleep apnea. Not that the problems will all go away, but that they won't seem overwhelming, like I can take what the world dishes out. Are these unrealistic expectations? Or has anyone seen a big quality of life upgrade from treating sleep apnea

I'm curious what women (or men) mean when a profile says they are looking for someone who is fit. It's so subjective, even more after 40...like 5 days a week at the gym with less than 5% body fat, or like you can hike a mile or two without having to stop for a breather? I (50m) am 6 feet, 180 lbs...not a gym rat or a physical specimen of a man, but I can hike miles at a time. What are your thoughts?

Hello! Im trying to get the unwelcome guest trophy and i heard that I have to be in soul form and go to the start of the long stairs and use either the dark stone or blue stone in order to invade someone’s world as a monk.
My problem is that the dark stone keeps failing to invade and the blue stone takes a while (possibly all day).
Do i have to keep trying the dark stone and switch between servers or do i have to wait for the blue stone?
Btw i already beaten the monk boss. Does he have to be alive in my world in order to work? Thanks!

There is only pain, crying and shouting. All the time. The children will take up your entire life, entire health. Entire available time. With children, you are not even allowed to work. You are not allowed to sleep. And when it's over and the children are self-sufficient, you are left with bad health, no employment prospects, worn-out body, all time lost. Only pain remains.
And what the children get? Nothing. They are involuntarily thrown into the abysmal maze of consciousness and no matter how much the parents care or love, the parents will do everything wrong and will eventually be damned for procreation. Regardless of the parents' love, regardless of the carefree childhood days, the children have to eventually cope with education, society, work, and pain and hunger and fear and all the suffering. Anything barely tolerable is an illusion. Only the pain is real.
There is nothing good about life. I don't understand why conservatives are so hellbent on "family". I don't know why anybody would want it. Family life is awful from every perspective - the parents, the children, the relatives and inlaws. Because the human existence is awful.

2025.01.22 17:06 OneRelief763 I Think I Underrated Lan Yan with Wanderer
Hey guys, a while ago I made a post going over Lan Yan and Citlali with Wanderer, but Lan Yan seems better than I thought at that time.
I overlooked her c1: its A LOT better than I thought. Basically what it does is, her Skill does 3 instances of Anemo and 3 instances of absorbed element at c0. At c1, it becomes 6 and 6, so it literally doubles the damage of her Skill. She has surprisingly high multipliers on her Skill and Burst: t13, 204.4x atk scaling and 309x6 EM scaling per Skill cast (with c1) and 512.2x3 atk scaling and 774x3 EM scaling on her Burst. Since she's Anemo, that damage is being buffed by both Faruzan and Bennett, allowing her to deal actually good dmg (at lvl 70/70 my t6 Lan Yan skill is hitting 24kx6+6.8kx6, nearly 200k total dmg) and burst 25kx3, 70k total, so with her severely underbuilt, shes doing nearly 300k DPR while providing Wanderer with by far the strongest Shield in the game.
Main issues are:
- If you want her to do good dmg, cant use Thrilling Tales for more buffing (building her dmg seems like it may be more worthwhile than ttds tho). If you got Citlali's weapon though, you can build Lan Yan to do both high dmg and buffing at the same with it.
- There's no good support set for her to use, best is 4pc scroll with only 12 dmg% since she isnt from Natlan. Hopefully we get a buffing set for Shield characters to use eventually.
- If you cast her burst, you won't get full Bennett uptime on Wanderer since her field time will take more than 2 seconds at that point. So will have to choose between losing some Bennett uptime on Wanderer and getting more dmg on Lan Yan or not. You may get full Bennett uptime on Wanderer if you don't use his CA before E, not sure, haven't had enough time to test.
