2025.01.22 20:01 jesusandrand Need Advice: CPAP Blowing in Face
Hey all, sorry if this has been posted before. I've been loving my CPAP but lately it has been waking me up again and again and again throughout the night because the air is blowing out the side of my nosepillow into my eyes or towards my mouth. The issue is that I can find the right position, but it shifts throughout the night. I've tried tightening it, but that makes it difficult to exhale and it feels like I'm suffocating, so I'll wake up and take it off half-asleep. Does anyone have suggestions for this?

hey :) i’m very new to tarot as i just got my first deck last week and i have anxiety about a reading i just did.
i asked if me and my family will be okay this year considering all that’s happening right now in America and i got the death card, 8 of swords, and reversed wheel of fortune. i know the death card doesn’t mean literal death but now i’m really scared because i’ve heard this story about how when my mom was a kid, my great-grandma would pull tarot cards on my grandpa to check in with his health (he had kidney failure) and she pulled the death card and 6 months later he died. now i’m freaking out as i also got the 8 of swords and revered wheel of fortune. can someone tell me if my parents will be okay or not cause now i’m freaking out. i’ve had bad OCD since i was a toddler and have always felt like my parents are gonna die and now i’m just scared 😭

2025.01.22 20:01 Albatross1495 Was a good advocate for my health today!
I've been trying to get doctors to take my health seriously. I've been dealing with a constellation of symptoms that don't seem to make sense, e.g. stiff joints, dry face/lips/eyes, shortness of breath, etc. The bloodwork came clear but the symptoms never exactly ceased. The first two doctors didn't take me seriously and I got tired of listing my symptoms orally to the doctors and intake nurses only to be ignored. I was going to give up and suck it up, but I mustered the courage to try another doctor again. So today, when I went to see the third doctor, I came in with a sheet of symptoms, when they started, and also a note that says that even when it was warm (85º F), I was still dealing with the symptoms because one of the past doctors chalked them all up to the colder weather. The doctor was very empathetic and seemed to take my symptoms seriously because I came in with a sheet of symptoms and he took a look at them and referred me to a rheumatologist. He apologised for not being any helpful (not true! He was a great listener!) and wished me all the best.
I was proud of myself for advocating and recording my symptoms in a way that makes (somewhat) sense and in combination of having an empathetic doctor, I was able to advocate for my health and get referred for further treatment. I know I still have a long way to go, but I'm happy that I didn't give up and advocated for my health!
