I am a renter, and my heat has been running nonstop for the past month, causing the electric bill to be extremely high.
It has been decently cold here recently, but I’m not sure if that is causing the problem.
A few days ago, we had the heat set to 68°. The thermostat would not go past 67°, causing the heat to just continuously run. Yesterday we turned the heat up to 70° because we are having windchills in the negatives. The temperature has not gone above 69°, again causing the heat to constantly run. Basically, the heat only gets up to 1° below where we set the thermostat to, no matter the temperature it is set to.
We have changed the air filter and there doesn’t seem to be anything wrong with the system in general. I don’t believe there is anything wrong with the system as it’s still blowing out hot air, it’s just running constantly and I’m looking for some advice on how to fix that.

Hi if anyone has the DCF510 with chargeable anvils. Could you please tell me of you remove the anvil completely can the ratchet be used for 13mm nuts as a pass through style? I hope that makes sense 😅 Makita do a version that without the anvil in has an opening just the right size for a 13mm nut which will pass through. I had 42 credits as of yesterday and my cycle usually renews on the 6th of every month with a 67-credit plan. I felt I had too many credits so I updated my plan to a 54 credit one -- then I saw that I now have -25 credits??!
Since I can roll over up to 54 unused credits, shouldn't my new balance be 42+54 = 96 credits??
Please someone help me cos CP support is horrible and takes days to resolve 😭

 | Printed a boat I designed on OnShape. for some reason the bottom of the boat has no crosshatching to smooth it out. Was left with long filaments that are not really stuck together. The boat was printed from the bottom up with overhang supports. The flat surfaces on top came out great but the supported curves are no bueno. Could it just be that the layers are too thin in the design, leading it to lay thin walls? I scaled it down by about 28x. Any advice? I’ll start this off by saying I can not possibly possibly list every single thing this person has done wrong in one post but I’m here because my manager, despite the fact that this individual is incredibly difficult to work with won’t report them or take additional action.
Let’s call him Steven. Steven has been on my team for about 8 months. I work in a physical labor environment that can be very fast paced. Steven is about 90 pounds. Steven is usually late to work, not at work, or in someway injured. Steven has sent paragraphs about nosebleeds, styes, and sore ankles. Part of me thinks he’s just not cut out for it but regardless he’s here. Steven will often ask if anyone needs help, but when given direction he will reply with “ok, I’ll do x thing after I do xyz and use the restroom or get a drink” but then never do it. This on numerous times has caused immense confusion because someone thought Steven was doing/handling a task that doesn’t get done, or gets done incorrectly. Steven will be over communicative but not in the way that managers want I think. He will say things like “hey I’m going to need help with cuz because I have a doctors appointment for x thing and also I’m not feeling well emotionally because my partner and I fought about xyz” so like think zero boundaries. Even if I would have said, sorry I can’t handle that I am now so uncomfortable and want him to stop talking that I say yes I’ll cover that or I say I’m sure someone can help go ask my manager.
Basically it’s a very toxic environment where nobody trusts this person to get work done, nobody wants to be around this person because they have no boundaries or understanding of social skills, and honestly I don’t think I’m the only one going insane. It’s to the point where everyone will talk badly about him behind his back and we keep sending him to do the tasks that must be done off the premises so we don’t have to be around him. This is not ideal as he will only get them done on time about 40% of the time, and once he called the office to let us know he had to rest because his feet were wet, and so my bosses boss didn’t get a delivery that they were expecting and ripped my manager a new one. So everyone suffers.
I don’t know how to handle this because it’s nothing that is so clearly crossing a line except for him NOT DOING HIS JOB but it’s not my job to mange him, and my manager won’t do anything. I have no problem with the environment he’s created, that I can’t trust him as a coworker, and that he is absolutely so annoying.
I once cried in the bathroom because he called out for a what sounded like the most made up excuse in the world. We were really understaffed and now I have to do his work. He’s made me late to meetings so many times and I felt so unappreciated and walked all over and was just sobbing because I’ve had some chronic health problems this year and maybe it shouldn’t be but it’s personally difficult to have empathy for someone who is constantly unable to do work for some physical ailment or another that is very minor when I have fought tooth and nail for help and the ability to get medical leave for a much needed surgery.
Before you say it sounds like your manager isn’t doing their job, or your company sucks please understand that shits rough out there and that at least at my company I’m happy. I just can’t stand this person. I can’t make my manager do anything either.
I’ll add that I was approached by a superior asking if he is stealing company time, and he absolutely is, but I don’t have the proof of that so I told them they’d have to ask my manager. It’s not going unnoticed but nobody is doing anything

After 9 months 26 days since I stopped using daily I took an edible yesterday. I woke up this morning and am indifferent to weed. I don't feel this overwhelming need to get more like I thought I would but I also don't feel disgusted with myself for using some. I feel free from the trap that weed had on my brain more than ever now. I don't intend to continue using.
Still probably wasn't a good idea to try it, I wouldn't recommend testing your addiction like that. I don't think I'll stop the clock on my quit weed app cause I like to see how much money I've not spent on weed. ($3043)
