I have been active user here and on other tarot subreddits for awhile now, and I have noticed something that's really bugging me. Why do we care so much how others decide to use their deck? If somebody is doing something you don't believe in, why do we feel the need to comment our own opinion when not asked?
I feel like people here on reddits tarot communities looove to turn into moral polices. Giving friendly advice is different (if asked!), but acting like you know any better and your way is the only right way is just rude and annoying. One example, this can be seen especially on second opinion/interpretation posts about others feelings for you and posts about ex partners. I always see some similar comments (or if I'm the one posting), "Actually!!!🤓☝You shouldn't ask this because it's unethical and... 'Sweetie', MOVE ON!!!". A bit overexaggeration, but you get the point. Like the one posting didn't ask for your opinion outside of the cards. Your comment is not very relevant and with all respect, you're being very annoying. If they cared, they would've probably made a seperate post like "What is your opinion of asking how others feel towards you" etc. People have different preferences and beliefs. If you don't want to do something that's great for you, but it doesn't mean it's fully wrong and nobody shouldn't do it either. This is just one example which I think highlights the "issue" well. The energy of "I know better than you" can be seen on other posts too.
I don't know, I felt like posting this on here :) What do you guys think? Is it okay to comment your own beliefs when not asked or do you find it annoying too? Also, english is not my native language so I'm sorry for any mistakes in my text.

Hey everyone, just wanted to share a quick update on my journey. I’m 45 days sober from weed after being a 1-2 gram/day smoker for 10 years.
The first few weeks were tough—constant anxiety, racing thoughts, and a lot of moments where I questioned if quitting was even worth it. But I’m finally starting to feel much better. The anxiety that felt like it would never go away has really calmed down, and my mind feels clearer.
That being said, I still deal with insomnia most nights, but I know it’s part of the process, and I’m trying to be patient with myself. I’ve noticed some big improvements in my energy, mood, and motivation, which is keeping me focused on staying the course.
If you’re in the early stages of quitting and it feels impossible, just know it does get better. One day at a time.
Would love to hear how others are doing—what’s helped you get through the insomnia or other challenges?
