就是和Christian nationalists 的战争。美国founding fathers 对宗教的态度基本上是容忍但是不信的态度。杰弗逊认为普通人傻逼，没有自己思考的能力，去自己发现行事的道德准则所以有个宗教信仰跟着教义走就好，所以宗教也是必要的。但是他的意思是随便一个宗教就好，并非专门指基督教。
Christian nationalists 认为一个人不信教他就没有道德，founding fathers 认为人可以从自己的理性思考得到道德。这点是根本性的分歧
另一个分歧就是，英国国王又是church的head，美国要独立，就必须否认自己是一个基督教国家，否则就是叛乱了。所以独立宣言认为政府的合法性来源于we the people而不是god given, 英国王室的合法性就是god 给予的。中国人看林肯的“of the people, by the people, for the people”想的是否认皇权，但是在西方，这句话也是否认神权。美国不是一个宗教国家，founding fathers 费了牛鼻子力气用first amendment 确认了美国政教分离。
但是Christian nationalists 一直要把美国变成一个基督教神权国家，哪怕因此有一个king也在所不惜。 理解了这点才能理解为什么这帮人对川普明显的独裁倾向根本无所谓，他们就是在选King。实现神权目标。

heyyy, I've been in LA a few years now trying to make it in the entertainment industry but have a full time job on the side to actually pay for my life here. job market feels super unstable here and I'm worried what will happen if i get let go from my job and have no way to pay rent or my bills - I have a friend who this happened to and they ended up moving back home :( looking for any tips or ideas for side hustles or if anyone has used this job loss protection plan, seems pretty legit.... anyways any advice would be super appreicated!!

I recently saw some prints from a friend's Bambu labs x1 carbon multicolor and I was floored. Awesome quality and very cool multicolor. I was kind of hooked till I saw the controversy about what the company is or could do with the software to lock down the printer. I don't sell prints, no print farm here. I just like to print stuff. I like the automatic filiment changer. The question I have is for my use case, should I buy this or not. I don't completely understand what Bambu has done or could do so not sure how to assess the risks the the future usability of this machine.

For as long as I can remember, I can snooze my alarm for hours. Just this morning, my alarm has been going off since 8:45am and it’s now 1:45pm and I’m just now getting out of bed. My alarm goes off every 9 minutes, but I quickly press snooze and go back to sleep. On the weekends, I can sleep for hours, no matter what time I went to bed. I desperately want to have a morning routine and to be productive but I can’t. I have an alarm clock at the foot of my bed that I have to get up to press snooze and i’m still able to go back to sleep for another hour+. PLEASE, any suggestions?
