(This is DND 2014 btw and the only extra materials we are using are Tasha's, Xanathar's and Eberron)
For context, me and my friends started a campaing last year and for some many scheduling issues we are still on session 3. My DM texted me today telling me we are running a solo session and I'm supposed to play my PCs mother for some reason he didn't tell me yet. He told me I could make her at around level 6 and I could give her ANY magical item I wanted. I jokingly sent him the wikidot link for the luck blade and he just said "ok" and thats when I realized I was fucked. He also told me I should be aware of the consequences of what might happen during the session and now I'm scared af.
So yeah, thats it, now I need to pick an OP or cool item to give my lvl 6 Bladesinger half-elf mother with possibly my whole backstory on the line, pls help me :'). I was thinking about the moonblade cause I think its a really cool item and I wanted to see if I could get it on my actual character.
TLDR: Best magical item (ANY rarity) for my lvl 6 Bladesinger half Elf.

My wife 45F and a co-worker are both going to a ritzy work event tonight — an evening gala for which she purchased a dress for just this event.
She’s been getting ready for a while — flat-ironing her hair, doing makeup, picking the perfect jewelry, etc. She looked so beautiful and professional but also still had her usual fun glow and liveliness to her. I so love seeing her all dressed up.
She left a while ago and was picking up her co-worker so they could ride to the event together.
I’d already told her how great she looked and kissed her goodbye, but then I was thinking about her again, and wanted to send her a little message, so I shot her a short playful text just saying she always looks great and that I love her and to have a great time tonight.
But after I sent it (and she didn’t respond) I remembered she has her car’s smart display programmed to auto-read all incoming text messages to her while she’s driving. So her co-worker (in the car with her) would’ve definitely heard the display read my private message to her. It was nothing spicy or anything, but still it was a private little love message to her. And I’m wondering if I put her in an awkward or embarrassing situation. It’s like a weird type of forced PDA that I wasn’t intending… and now I’m feeling bad that I did that to her.
Would you be embarrassed to have your co-worker (who is also a friend) overhear a lovey message that was intended just for you??

I have just started playing FF, and have liked it very much so far. But now, after 10 hours in the game and being in year 12, all of a sudden, "time stands still". I still see the seasons passing by, but there is no notification for the start of a new year any more, crop rotation isn't working anymore (it starts in the first years slot every time), no taxes are paid (the amount of gold stays always the same), no trader shows up any more (for two "years" now), new wells lose their water in minutes and never get it back (although water statistics look good), all fish have gone from the waters, so that my fisherman complain, ... It's really weird! Has anyone else had this behavior?
I am playing in Pioneer mode and the Idyllic valley.

Had a few beers and been watching Sunny and then I come on here and I'm just glad to see it.
I'd never heard of the show then one of my friends years and years ago suggested it to me and we watched the first episode on a double date (bad idea!) and then I forgot about it.
Went to Uni and met a dude who said it was his favorite show, and we started watching as a group and Goddamn it's such a great show. The best written show I've ever seen in my life, I showed it to my twin Brother who instantly loved it too and show it to his Wife.
It's nuts. Just some random comedy about some scumbag people can bring so many people together.

so i submitted a school accommodation to work 8:30am-5:30pm Tuesdays and Thursday-Sunday. The request was approved and i was notified by case manager that my aligned leadership said it was okay. we have a locker as well in our building and the locker hours changed as soon as we got a new manager. this new manager changed mine and my coworker schedules / locker hours to 9:30am-6:30pm and 11am-8pm. because of this, mgr texted me saying i need to start coming in at 9:30am. even though my schedule was approved until May. how is this right lmao.

I’m a 31-year-old male, and I’ve been experiencing some symptoms down there. I’m looking for advice on what this might be, as well as any similar experiences with these symptoms. I’ll list my symptoms below:
• Feels like a bag of worms behind my left testicle
•Sometimes feels very warm in my testicles, mainly on the left side and inner thigh
•Heaviness in the testicles, mostly on the left side
•Occasional dull ache
•No actual pain
•Heavy lifting doesn’t aggravate it
•I notice it most when sitting, and least when standing
•Slight tightness in my left groin when I twist my back to the right
•Symptoms come and go
•Felt some relief (testicles didn’t feel heavy) the day after ejaculation, but the symptoms returned the following day
It’s strange because about two weeks ago, while I was urinating, I had an itch in my pubic hair and scratched what felt like a pimple or ingrown hair. It stung when I scratched it, and I immediately thought it could be a hernia, but then I thought it might be an ingrown hair because it had a small head on top, about 1mm in size. I left it alone, but a few days later, I squeezed it (probably not the best idea), and it exploded with white pus, like a zit. It’s mostly flat now and a little bruised, so I’m not sure if this is related to my other symptoms, which started about a week afterward.
I’m hoping it’s not a hernia. I lift weights five times a week, and I feel the same before and after lifting. I have a doctor’s appointment scheduled for Monday (the soonest availability) to get everything checked out. Does anyone have any ideas on what I might be experiencing?
