Did anyone else find the Sigmund Freud book titled "The Interpretation of Dreams"? The little note talks of the Nazi's banning of the book when the one who shall not be named came to power. So I jumped online to the Internet Archive to see if it was real. And it is! Published in 1913! This is what I LOVE about Indy, right from the very beginning with Raiders, they are writing real history into the story, history that was otherwise covered up or practically destroyed with misinformation. When Dial of Destiny came out I went into the cinema like I was going to one of Indy's classes. I knew there was going to be something the writers were trying to reveal about that period in history. And the same happened with the Great Circle, I wasn't disappointed, and this little beauty is just the tip of the iceberg!

SPOILER** The whole dream sequence in the game is sensational, even more so considering the writers were dipping into the frontiers of dream research at the time before it was banned and shut down (why? It makes me wonder) The never-ending cyclical loops that change and degrade over time, which Indy experiences in the game by going round and round in his old college, references The Great Circle beyond the physical and material plane! It's more than just a global wormhole transit system around the planet's magnetic equator! It also dips into our collective consciousness as human beings and appears in our dreams. Damn, honestly, this has to be the best game I've ever played!

Just for some context I am 18 years old and I live in Louisiana. I’m in my last semester of high school and I am moving to my own place this summer. I start college next fall and I’m majoring in archaeology. My longterm plan is to move to Egypt in the future (since I’m learning Egyptian Arabic currently and it is an absolute paradise for archaeologists). So I would prefer someone from an Arab background. He doesn’t have to be Egyptian as long as he understands Egyptian Arabic (and also speaks relatively good English).
The only problem is that I’m an American revert and I know many men don’t want to marry a revert due to some conservative parents only accepting spouses for their kids from the same nationality. I’ve never dated before so the issue of “purity culture” doesn’t apply to me but I know some people still don’t want a revert since we aren’t as knowledgeable In Islam. Even worse, I don’t have a wali since I have no brothers and my father is incarcerated. My uncles all live out of town. And my mother disapproves of the idea of Islamic marriage entirely. I want to find someone as soon as possible especially since I’m going to college and I don’t want to fall into sin while there due to the western lifestyle I’ll be surrounded with.
Honestly I just need some guidance and help right now from other sisters.

2025.01.24 06:51 Terracar35 P659-G1 Bootloop (Need Help Troubleshooting!)
So i got a P659 for free off some nice people who didnt want to bother fixing it, the problem sounds simple, its stuck in a boot-loop.
No problem i thought, "ive done this before".
You see, i couldn't find the problem, everything looks, sounds and seems fine, testing has shown no obvious issues.
So i replaced the main-board, no change, replaced the PSU, no change.
Now im stumped, because this tv has no obvious problems and the solution of throwing money at it hasn't worked so im asking for help.
The ONLY potential issue i have found is a slight sparking noise when jiggling a few of the ferrite filters, and i cant find a replacement for them online, nor do i know how to test if they are ok as Both PSU's have "sparky" filters.
If someone knows about this stuff please let me know, this tv has been sitting for over a month as i try to repair it, i appreciate any help, thanks
