2025.01.24 11:20 PurplePixelZone The panic buying was unreal yesterday.
I know it's good to be prepared, but even so.
Batteries, candles, torches, lighters, firewood, toilet paper, powerbanks, you name it, it was like it was the last days on Earth. Lots of bread/milk/butter panic too (we don't sell those, lol)
Went home after work. Went to bed, the letterbox clattered a bit, the electricity went off, a bit, woke up to sunshine, and a tipped bin.
Cork got off easy. A few snapped tree branches in West Cork, that was it.

 | Credit: All key frames and in-between frames by Sushio. It's a Satsuki day today! Starting us off, it's a key frame. I think we all recognize this moment! It definitely made me wince the first time that I saw it, lol. The remaining in-between frames today are again pretty small sketches, so I've done my best with them. :) For anyone who might be joining us or didn't catch my explanation posts, these are all sketches that get drawn over during production. They're the first step to making douga and genga. Some of them can be pretty faint just because they use color next and block out where animation will take place. So I try to enhance them so that we can see the original sketches, underneath all the fancy animation magic. Some end up a bit blurry, but I am dedicated to documenting all of my collection, so I post 'em anyway, for those interested! Just thought I'd do a periodical explanation, since this is probably the largest part of my collection. We will be going through every episode and it'll take a long while! I started Keto on January 1, 2025. That day was also day 65 of no alcohol.
Next goal is to quit caffeine. That is going to be a slow, long weening process starting February 1st. (I drink 3-4 cups dark brew coffee a day now).
Reason for the post is to record my journey and say how much better my life is on keto.
Virtually NO depressive symptoms. I should note I've been doing lazy keto for years but drank 6 ipas a day!
Now I'm strict with 20 or less net carbs a day.
I've also been intermittent fasting for years now. I'm continuing that too.
Main point of post....it feels like the clouds are gone and it's a sunny day...every day.
(I quit lamotrigine and klonopin 2 years ago. I'm on no meds)

In November 2023, I received an offer from Futurense Technologies as an Associate Google Cloud Architect. They promised 6 months of unpaid training, during which we would prepare for the GCP PCA certification and then be deployed to companies. However, the training extended to 10 months, during which we diligently worked on PoCs, capstones, mock exams, and interviews without receiving any pay. In August 2024, we finally wrote and cleared the GCP PCA certification, but after that, HR and the coordinators went silent. Concerned, we involved our university, which had ties with the company, and after a month of following up, we were onboarded on September 9, 2024, with the promise of deployment and salaries as per the offer letter. Despite this, deployment never materialized, and we ended up doing unrelated tasks like telecalling, manual testing, and assignment corrections. Only one data scientist role was available, and although all of us gave it a try and received excellent feedback, they selected just one candidate since that was their requirement. Later, another role came up requiring Azure candidates, but none of us were selected as we were trained on GCP. On November 29, 2024, we were suddenly terminated without notice, severance pay, or any valid reason. We later discovered that our university had cut ties with the company weeks earlier and suspect that this led to our firing. To make matters worse, they falsely submitted resignations on our behalf through the HR portal, claiming âpersonal reasons,â without informing us or our manager, who was equally unaware. We filed a labor case on December 9, but the job market is tough, and Iâm unsure what to do next. The CEO, Raghav Gupta, who also co-founded the 1% Club with Sharan Hegde, appears more focused on social media presence, and the company seems riddled with scams. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I had been wanting a Samsung smartwatch for a while. I am committed to my Samsung phones, and I love a wearable for alarms, notifications, sleep tracking, etc. I came into a very little bit of $ that allowed me to finally take the plunge I bought a 6 classic, and while I love the look, even the 43mm was simple too big and heavy for my small bones. It kept slipping and twisting and almost never was able to lie flat on my narrow wrist. But I loved the functionality (and bezel). I tried twice to get a regular 6 from Amazon but kept getting the one that wouldn't allow me to choose the US. Finally, I bit the bullet and got a 7 (40mm) from Costco yesterday, and I love it. It is so much more comfortable (for me) to wear as compared to the 6 classic. It is also significantly lighter. So even though I miss the bezel of the classic and liked the look of the regular 6 better, the comfort and function of the 7 are enough that I'm keeping it.
I'd love any tips or tricks. I've read up a bit on battery life, and I'm hopeful that after the first day or so it will improve, since that is what happened with my 6 classic, which I plan on returning. Thanks!

 | I was quitting my game to go to the main menu when this text appeared on my screen. I was having problems in my city where garbage was not being collected. It caused my city to have 50,000 people leave or die due to the trash not being picked up. I was thinking that it was a bug in the game due to my population about to be at 100,000.
