2025.01.24 14:51 Misskmartin I found a goldmine for credit card churning
I've been credit card churning for the past 3 years or so to make a little extra money on the side. For anyone who's unfamiliar with it, credit card churning is when you apply for cards to take advantage of short term promotions or benefits and then cancel them before you're charged any fees. I normally go through articles and look on Reddit to find promotions but I recently found this website - https://supermoney.com/reviews/personal-credit-cards
It has a massive list of credit cards that gets updated monthly with any promotions that are running. You just have to look for credit cards with the "Promo Offer" icon in the top left above the photo of the credit card. If you click it you'll see the promotion being offered by the credit card company. For example Capital One is running a promotion with the Quicksilver card where you can get $200 cash after you spend $500 and that's shown on the first page.
There's one issue with this website though, you can only see the "Promo Offer" icon on desktop computers and laptops. For some reason it doesn't show up when you use the website on your phone. Just thought I'd share this as it's a handy way to make some extra money and you should definitely take advantage of it if you have a solid credit score.

2025.01.24 14:51 No-Tension9614 Rusted broken-off muffler, muffler hook and catalytic converter - What are some methods to repair?
My muffler fell off.
I have a series of images along with videos associated with those images.
I need help understanding how i can go about fixing some issues here.
In the images below, The "hook" from the "Exhaust Heat Shield" ripped off from each other. you can see the hole that remains in "Exhaust Heat Shield". I was wondering what would be a good way to repair it? Should i just purchase a whole new shield or should i find a way to somehow rig this. In the other image, you can see the hook that broke off still attached to the exhaust, its very rusty. Do they sell a special kind of third party hook system that i can just strap on? Was wondering whats a good way to repair this and put in a new hook for the muffler.

In the images below, You can see my muffler and catalytic converter were ripped off from each other. I was wondering, how does one "reconnect" the muffler back to the catalytic converter? I do not have a welding machine. Is there a special tool, kit or part that a DIYer can use to fix this?

I've always been interested in public transit and transportation, and the traffic studies I've done regarding pedestrian facilities have been much more fulfilling than vehicle-related studies and reports. I really enjoy completing these studies, gathering pedestrian data and field reviews to compare to traffic standards to provide recommendations is awesome.
Is traffic engineering the best way to get involved with these topics as a career? I understand I would be dealing with vehicles most often, but I'm just trying to find the field to have the highest chance to deal with active and public transit/transportation. I also don't really have interest in roadway design, and find traffic topics/design/modeling more fun in general.
I feel like I may just be answering my own question, but just wanted feedback from others in these fields or with these interests.

I was making paper and I attempted to press leaves into the paper while it was drying (it did not work they just peeled off) but it left this really cool subtracted leaf shape on the paper with green surrounding it. I'm wondering if it's mold on the paper or just green chlorophyll from the leaf.
The leaf was dry and pressed in wax paper before hand but was still green.
