Hi people! yes, I know I know, a lot of post about this topic and almost all of them conclude that is a bad idea.
But hear me out, what about 2 players per faction? I will have a boardgames meeting with another 6 friends, and I was thinking, as I'm the only one who know the rules, give a faction to every pair of players, and I will play as the Vagabond, teaching the game, and giving the opportunity to learn the game in pairs, helping each other in every faction, and learning the dynamics and uniqueness of each one.
After that first game maybe we can play a normal game with 4 players (I don't have the expanssions) but I think this is a really good idea, especially for my group of players who tend to be a little dispersed.
What do you think? is another recipe for disaster? may work? have you tried?

When I talk to the NPC to turn in a quest or season quest I have to click on the NPC, click the dialogue, it closes and nothing happens then I repeat this process and sometimes it can be over 20 clicks before the quest is turned in or I can interact with the NPC properly.
I started recording after 2 mins had gone by of me interacting with the NPC

Actually. I totally have an addiction to this game. I got into it so quickly and I play for hours without realizing how long it has been. Thankfully, I haven't neglected any of the real life duties because of it. My sleep schedule is just dog poop, which is nothing new.
I am considering doing multiple saves so I can decorate in multiple ways, but also romance multiple characters because I can't decide. I might wait for the updates to do that, though.

I need an insight.
I work on a local student radio station and few years ago a fellow colleague called me and said he liked the music I played and could I DJ on his friend's farewell party.
I said yes because I was so thrilled someone liked my music and wanted to experience new things. But the thing is I've never DJed in my life. So me and my colleague, who is a DJ, hung out for 3 days and had b2b sessions. The gig was fine, transitions were solid. I played the music I liked at the moment, not the one I usually listen.
After the party I hung out with one friend who aspires to be a DJ and we did numerous b2b sessions for fun at her place. She aspires to be a DJ and has a really throughout approach to it.
She sees it as something sacred, she watches producers song making process, when she starts to listen to an artist she really listens all of the albums. She often gatekeeps and talks about it as an art. I agree it is, but I could articulate it as deep as she did.
Me on the other hand, I'm not that throughout. Don't get me wrong I really love music, I sing also, and music saved me. But I don't need to know everything about the artist, all of its songs, to enjoy music.
As the time was passing by, I realised she started to disapprove me and my perspective on music. I sensed that she doesn't like that I dont know all of the artists albums if I listen some of their music.
I got called to my other friends party to DJ. We are really good friends and she just started organizing it and really didn't know anyone to ask for playing music.
I accepted it even tho I didn't liked the music that much nor the crowd. But I accepted it, because, again I was thrilled I'm getting seen and that I'm important. And also, it supposed to be fun.
That first friend was kinda furious at me. She didn't liked that I accepted any of my gigs because she wouldn't accept it herself and she was really mad that I asked for her headphones (I have a controller and we used it all the time and I said to her she can use it anytime ).
So yeah, I realised my friend thinks I'm a poser and I only do it for clout. She sometimes insinuated that I lack deepnes for music. The thing is I have a low self esteem and lack boundaries and I don't really question myself do I want to actually do something, I just do it. I was blinded by someone actually giving fuck about me. I started to be more aware of my lack of boundaries problem.
Now, I'm questioning myself, am I really a poser? I mean I know that I'm in the wrong by calling myself a DJ even tho I wasn't one when it comes to music and equipment knowledge. And I accept that I'm in the wrong by accepting gigs I don't have music for. It's just, now I can't even listen to music normally anymore. Like, I think that I don't have the right to listen to music or DJ for fun.
I dont want to say anymore I love jungle or dnb or house bcs in reality I dont really know all of the ogs and their tracks. I don't want to label myself anymore.
Maybe I was a poser? Maybe I just don't feel it's that deep? Maybe I just need to face the consequences of my actions?
But why do I have this urge to prove something to that friend?
I cant look at music and DJing normally anymore. It's like I'm in this constant fear of- can I do this? Can I do that? Do I know enough to do something? Can I say I love Goldie even tho I dont know all of the Goldie's tracks? Is my way of music-ing wrong?
But the thing is I really really enjoy music and I feel like I'm getting stripped off of it.
Like.... ???
