Looking for a new Phone, old one battery dead, processor kinda dead. Coming from a Redmi Note 11 which I didn't really like bcs 1. Ads (yes you can basically turn them off...) 2. Camera not good imo 3. Don't like the default apps... and so on
What I would look for:
- decent camera (60fps video would be nice)
- not too big (would prefer a display size around 6.1
- mid range pricing
- No ads!
- smooth OS
- "secure" OS
- Android i guess
What I found so far:
- iPhone 15. Great display size. But don't like OS to much. So no.
- Samsung Galaxy A55 5G
- Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 ? Whats your take on it. Cheaper than Samsung and specs wise looks better?
What is your take and what else would you recommend, any other brands, models?

6 weeks PO and everything I'm eating lately is causing me a lot of discomfort and pain. Even protein shakes make my stomach uncomfortable lately and I'm just not sure why.
Is there anything you eat that seems to digest well? I'd really like to have solid food more than a couple of times a week at this point. But every time I eat it just feels like a lot of pressure and it's mildly painful. Is that normal?
I see my surgeon for a follow up soon, but I thought I'd ask here in the meantime

Hello, I am a 33M and have been struggling with knee pain for the last 8-9 months. I am just kind of lost on what is going on with my knee and what to do next. Physio and Dr. have not been really transparent on what exactly is going on and Iām starting to think they really donāt know whatās causing my pain. Reddit helped me tremendously during my first recovery from the ligament recon surgery, so I thought it was worth a shot as I am starting to lose hope. Flash forward to May of 2024 and on a really busy work week(60 hours) on my feet I was walking to work after getting of bus. While I was walking in a straight line I felt a sudden extremely sharp pain in the front of my knee. To me it felt like a slice of bone had chipped off. I went home as the extremely sharp pain was there but not on every step. I got an MRI at a different hospital than the one I got surgery at and MRI revealed bone bruising, cartilage intact and the ligaments intact. Saw the doctor that did my surgery 5 weeks(since May incident) later and he prescribed diclofenac and Physical therapy and told me I would be able to return to work in 6 weeks. That was clearly wrong as I did PT for 4-5 months before returning to doctor to tell him I was still in pain and something was clearly wrong with my knee.
Arthroscopic surgery was then scheduled to look into the knee and find out whatās exactly going on. I underwent arthroscopic debridement surgery in early November and they basically found scar tissue getting in to my meniscus and behind my patella. They also graded my cartilage, medial tibial plateau got a grade 1b and medial femoral condyle got a grade 2 . There was no evidence of loose bodies in my knee which was one of my symptoms as well. I was also told that I could return to work 6 weeks after surgery.
I have now been doing physical therapy for 10-1/2 weeks since surgery and the pain in the same front area of my knee has returned and almost gotten worse. Iām not sure if itās because of the more strenuous PT we are starting to do or the more standing Iām doing but my knee has just taken a turn for the worse the last week or so. I even had a complete buckle/lock episode while turning around during a walk that has made me lose most of the confidence I had gained. Iām starting to feel my pain get worse the longer Iām on my feet and almost feeling pain in new areas(along with the normal front of the knee pain).
PT and doctor I feel have been wrong the entire time and my injury obviously cannot be scar tissue. It really feels like there is slice on top of my tibia that keeps getting flared up. Sharp pain weight baring, more pain on specific floor surfaces and pain with different shoes. I have tried all sorts of different shoes and have ended up returning most of them. Lower stack and lower drop shoes help tremendously. No pain at rest other than very light ache the first 15 minutes after a longer walk. Iām just starting to lose hope and donāt know what to do. I keep being told to strengthen and walk and it will get better. But that is clearly not working as Iāve been doing strengthening PT for basically 8 months now to no avail. In my opinion, the time I felt the best was the 1-1/2 months I had to wait before surgery where I was strictly resting and walking every now and then. But even then my knee felt very weak and atrophied, but the pain was at least minimal.
I donāt even know what to think now, I see the doctor again Feb 13th and I just donāt know whatās next. Iām starting to fear a permanent limp, chronic pain, and fear for my overall future as I was a very active person even after my reconstruction surgery. All this sitting at home wondering whatās going on is killing my mental health. Iām truly suffering and am hoping this community has anybody out there dealing with similar issues. I need advice and guidance as I feel like my doctors clearly donāt know whatās going on. Any help or inspiration would be tremendously appreciated Iām so lostš

I'm beyond embarrassed to even be asking strangers for help, but I have been stuck in this house for 10 years... which at first was okay because we needed this house to stop living in a hotel but as much as I love my family, they are hoarding and the landlord does not take care of the house, it's an unsafe living environment. I can't keep staying here anymore. The house is infested with mice, raccoons in the Attic, and we constantly have to keep an eye out for roaches. My goal is to move out into my own apartment, my family has said we'll find a new place but it's not going to happen any time soon. I can't stay here anymore. So I have these two components in my tank, but the piping between them is different diameters and I can't find a standalone part to buy.

Any recommendations on how to buy the appropriate piping/tubing to go between these? Seems like there is a different diameter on the two ends, with the Korky part being larger than the little "nipple" atop the Kohler stem Guessing that I'm looking for some kind of flexible tubing and maybe need to heat it to fit over one of the two parts.
Additional context:
- The Kohler canister in use is from and older design, and the Korky fill valve originally had a metal clip that attached to a tab (like this)
- The act of the canister raising when flushing would hit the existing piping and caused the stem piece inside the canister to break
- I bought the new stem piece (2nd link above) and it works with the canister design but it didn't come with any tubing.
- The tubing you see in the pic seems too short and the canister lifting still hits it. Guessing I need more slack to absorb any impact.

The theme for week 6 on the 52weeksofcooking subreddit is "A Technique You're Intimidated By," and my first idea was dumplings because I've never sucessed in making dumpling wrappers from scratch. Making homemade dumpling wrappers always ends up messy and results in the wrong texture. However, I wasn't sure if making dumpling wrappers would be considered a cooking technique. That's why I read an article about cooking techniques.
After reading the article, a second idea came up to mind: omurice. It's a Japanese dish, as known as omelette rice. Omurice can be served in many variations. I've never tried making the one with a fluffy and runny omelette because I know it's not easy to achieve the oval shape, and it often gets overbaked.
I haven't decided which one I make for the challenge yet.

I (19F) have been struggling a lot with attachment issues and fear of abandonment. Every time I start talking to someone I like, I get emotionally invested way too fast. I know deep down that I crave a deeper emotional connection but I often end up feeling like I'm more invested than the other person. In the past 2 years, Iāve had two experiences that really messed with my self-esteem. One guy I liked rejected me and another backed out within a week of showing interest. These were guys I met online tho smh. Both situations left me feeling like Iām not enough and that no one ever truly wants to stay. Itās hard not to take it personally and I wonder if thereās something wrong with me. Iāve realized that I get attached to anyone who shows me attention or is nice to me, and itās exhausting. I start feeling like I want more from them, even if they donāt see me in that way. Itās like I canāt enjoy things without getting emotionally involved, and I end up feeling bad when things donāt work out how I hoped. On top of this, I constantly wonderāwhy hasnāt anyone ever truly liked me romantically? I see people around me getting into relationships and it makes me feel unlovable or left out. I try not to compare, but itās hard when I feel like Iām putting myself out there and still not being chosen in the way I want. Iām in a girls' college, so my opportunities to meet people are already limited, and I know I wonāt be able to have a relationship at least until postgrad. This only adds to my fear that I might never find someone. I donāt know how to enjoy the moment without getting anxious about where things are going. I also want to stop feeling like I need external validation to feel good about myself. If anyone has been through this or has advice on how to build emotional boundaries and self-worth, Iād love to hear it.
