2025.01.24 20:23 blueqtpm UK MOAs! Is it best to buy a MOABONG right now or wait until concert day?

I haven’t attended a kpop concert in almost 6 years (mainly because none of my faves came to Europe until now welp) so it’s hard to remember if it’s worth the money to buy lightsticks at the venue instead of buying it beforehand.
I’m seeing them being sold at UK retailers for £68-£70 but I have a feeling they’re closer to the £40-£50 range in person from my past experience with BTS. I’m planning on arriving at a time way earlier than when doors open anyways since I wanted to get some other merch, so I don’t think it would be an issue since lightsticks are usually take up the leftover stock at every kpop concert - however since TXT have never come to the UK before I’m a little worried if stock will be gone much quicker.
Any advice from other UK/European MOAs or even MOAs who’ve attended their concerts before?

Plane meine GKK zu wechseln und tendiere zwischen Firmus und HKK. Die sportmedizinische Untersuchung werde ich auf jeden Fall in Anspruch nehmen.
Kostenerstattung/Übernahme:
HKK: 100 %, alle 2 Jahre bis zu 70 Euro für die Erstuntersuchung oder 140 Euro für beides: Erst- und Folgeuntersuchung
Firmus: 80 %, erstattet einen Teil der Kosten für eine sportmedizinische Vorsorgeuntersuchung und Beratung bis zu maximal 30 Euro pro Behandlung. Eine Kostenerstattung ist alle zwei Jahre möglich. (Was ich hier nicht verstehe ist ob sie mir 1x30 € für Erst- und Folgeuntersuchung zahlen oder 2x30€ wenn es überhaupt Erst- und Folgeuntersuchung bei denen gibt)
Habt ihr Erfahrungen was die sportmedizinische Untersuchung(en?) letztendlich wirklich kostet alles in allem damit ich die Angebote vergleichen kann, sprich sind die Gesamtkosten meistens innerhalb der HKK übernommenen 70/140 €? Die Differenz des Monatsbeitrages auf 2 Jahre gerechnet zwischen Firmus und HKK ist bei mir höher als die übernommenen 140€ (HKK) minus 30€ (Firmus). Habt ihr auch generell Erfahrungen zu der sportmedizinische Untersuchung bei den 2 genannten GKK's?

Hello,
I will be going on vacation for 10 days in February. I have 2 cape sundews, Drosera adelae, and 2 Pinguicula that like bog-like conditions (emarginata and ibarrae).
I’ve read about the ziploc bag method of putting each plant in a ziploc bag with water and in a shaded location with the plants mostly doing okay for up to 2-3 weeks? I was planning on individually bagging each plant, filling the ziploc bag with water, and then leaving them in my bathtub until I come back.
My questions are is it expected that I’d close the ziploc bag tightly with the clasp? Would this cause any issue with the plants getting oxygen/CO2 exchange? Do I poke a small hole in each bag to allow for circulation? How much water should I put in each bag? Enough to reach the brim of the pots?

Hi everyone, I'm an international student in England and I'm doing a part-time job as a tutor. Recently, they got my DBS check done and I noticed today that my place of birth is wrong on the certificate(it's the city that I have been living in back home). My employer didn't notice and I haven't told them yet since I recently found it. I don't remember if it was me who made the mistake on the online application(might be me icl). What do I do in this situation? My employer paid for the DBS but then deducted the fees from salary. Also, my DBS check came clear and all the rest of the information is correct. I have a job interview lined up in the first week of feb and one of their requirements was that I have a DBS certificate. If I take it upto my employer, will I be charged more fees and will I get back the corrected version in time to show to my new employer(uni's the new employer btw)? And does it really matter if the place of birth is wrong considering everything else on the certificate is right? (Don't wanna pay more money or lose the other job)

My husband and I try and try but I always get my period on time.
I’ve been diagnosed with PCOS in the past and I’ve had to be on antidepressants and mood stabilizers to cope with multiple tragedies that happened in my early twenties. The medication saved my life.
My mother also had a very hard time after having me. She also has PCOS and had to take hormones to get pregnant with my sister— then do IVF to get my brother.
I’m discouraged to say the least.. but if I ever do have a baby girl, I’d name her Caroline.

She is terminal and its getting worse and worse everyday. Shes currently bedbound, unable to speak, talk, move, eat, open her eyes, and is struggling to breath. I know no prayer or magic can stop the inevitable unless a literal miracle happens so I ask for prayers of peace, comfort, and love for my household and my grandmother.
