Bought a pair of these after considering many brands plus the Sonos. I must say I am not impressed with the sound...now I know the bass would be minimal being bookshelf size and I had planned to add a sub to the system to remedy that, but the high frequencies are just so muted with no way to adjust. I like to describe it as sounding like there is a piece of thick felt over the tweeters. When I am in stores I frequently listen to BT speakers on display and they sound much better to me, which shouldn't be the case. Right now I am considering offloading them and just picking up the JBL Boombox 3 that I was listening to in Costco yesterday. I am certainly not a "connoisseur" of sound, is the SVS sound what is sought after and I just have more of an amateurish preference for clear highs? I have had them too long to return BTW, I kept thinking something would change or I would get accustomed to the sound. I use them solely for Streaming music with Spotify and I did try the other services with supposed higher fidelity and couldn't detect a difference. Any advice?

So for needle felting, could I conceivable buy a pack of felt sheets and bind them somehow to achieve a similar already compressed pad? I feel like it cannot be that easy or people would have done it...

I have not 3d printed anything by myself before but I love video game console modding and would love to get into it. I have the opportunity to buy a formlabs form 2 printer for 100 bucks, I just don't know much about anything to convince myself to buy it. Is it a good printer? Is there a source for clear instructions on how to maintain the machine? Is it even smart to buy used as my first printer? I also was wondering if I'm in over my head on a machine like that because most 3d printers use spools of plastic which look cheaper and easier to setup than what i've seen the form 2 require, but I also don't know anything about that either.

 | I want to make sure I'm using enough, but not too much. I'm sure there's wiggle room there, but is there sort of a X amount of salt per inch thick or something? I wanna sous vide these then sear em at the end, but I don't want them to come out too bland or overly salty. From what I've read I'll want to salt em all over, both sides and the entire outer edge, then store em in the fridge uncovered for 1-2 days.  | Hey everyone, Last year I did my first cosplay and bought some colored lenses for it. I never wear contacts or anything but thought it would complete the look. A week before the convention I started wearing them for a few hours a day so that I could get used to them but my eyes felt irritated everytime and turned red. Unfortunately, it didn't get better and I eventually went to the convention without them but I would like to be able to use them for cosplay. I have a 2020 Talon that I love (except for the bucking on whoops). We've been through a lot together and she still runs like a top. Most of my riding is in south Florida, so a lot of flat terrain with mud, water, and sand. I submarine her on the regular, and have never had an issue (thank you snorkel!) I would like a bit more power for mud donuts, but the thought of all those extra parts and connections going underwater scares me. Anybody running a turbo that regularly gets wet? If I was in the Appalachians or Utah this would be a no brainer, it's just that even the air filter area occasionally gets underwater and looking at the Jackson and Kraftwerks kits I see potential issues.

Hallo, bei mir im Modul muss man als Prüfungsleistung ein Essay und eine Präsentation abgeben. Beides habe ich auch ordnungsgemäß abgegeben.
Nun ist es aber so, dass jeder in dem Modul 10 Essays von anderen bewerten sollte. Dafür gab es eine andere Frist. Leider habe ich diese Frist im Zuge des ganzen Klausurlernens um einen Tag verpasst, heißt ich hab das Feedback zu den Essays grade noch schnell gemacht, aber eben zu spät.
Jetzt fürchte ich aber, dass ich das ganze Modul nicht bestehe aufgrund dieser (In meinen Augen unwichtigen) Feedbackrunde.
Sollte ich dem Prof schreiben und mich erklären oder soll ich darauf hoffen das mein verspätetes Feedback nicht auffällt.

 | I’m looking for some pointers for the best solution to solve some leaks in our garage roof please. There are several places where the roof appears to be failing, the water doesn’t pool either and appears to have an appropriate slope and leaks seem to be getting through the seems of materials. We’ve had some quotes on a full new rubber roof ranging between £3-5k, which is currently unaffordable with the main house roof being done in March. I know a paint on fix is temporary, but we don’t plan on staying here for more then 4 more years, ideally we won’t replace the garage roof at all but if we have to, buying an extra year or two would be ideal. Im pretty handy having renovated 90% of our house so am open to more hands on suggestions than an acrylic paint as much as they are the standout right now.  | Bought the SLGW005G today. There is only 10 pieces available in China and I got my hands on the very last one. Owening multiple GS watch and I'd say though the cases and dials are impeccable but I am not always happy with the roughly decorated movement. No doubt this one has the most beautiful movement by far, both aesthetically and mechanically. The finishing is outstanding comparing with older GS movements, it finally reached Haute Horology level ! In my opinion it is comparable with Blanc Pain in terms of movement finishing and decoration except the anglage is not as rounded as the JB.
