Fast forward 3-4 months later and he talks about everything: if someone leaves, if he is hungry, if he bored, if he wants to keep playing, if he wants you to pick him up so he can lay on you, if he doesn’t want you to lay in bed, he even whines when he stretches in his sleep. Hi all, I've recently switched my old headphones for new ones because of a static noise in both ears. My phone (Google pixel 8, android version 15, age: almost a year old) is updated and is a fairly new model, so it can't be that because it has worked fine with my phone. I factory reset it, repaired it, it still happens with my new headphones. Do you guys think it's my phone that's causing this or the headphones? Help me troubleshoot this, thanks!

I'm looking to start live streaming but had a few questions I was hoping the braintrust here can help with. The goal is to stream live youth hockey games to YouTube or Facebook, allowing relatives and parents who didn't travel with the team to watch the kids play.
the questions;
Is there a different service or app I should be using? The more mainstream the better with a lot of grandparents trying to access the feed.
I received a copyright warning on Facebook due to the rink playing music between periods, is there a way other then muting the feed to avoid this? I don't love the silent stream or the mute notification that was recorded on the stream.
Any other tips or trick those with experience want to share?

I just reminded myself that I once was on a dating app, and thought that I was shadowbanned. Asked for the swipe data and saw that nearly 1000 women swiped left, not ONE like.
Needless to say I left the app forever. Why did my brain decide to remind me of that randomly? I do not care if people say yeah apps are trash anyway.
When 1000 woman agree on something, what are the odds they are all wrong? Explain to me why outside of people complaining online, they actually do work? I know plenty of people that managed to use them well, like with 4 different dates in a week.
Apps don't work = cope, there I said it.
And yes I did use pictures that made me look better than I actually do in real life Also never ask for that data if you are on these apps

2025.01.30 14:49 SlimIcarus21 How to deal with the aftermath of a JET interview?
Hey guys, first time JET applicant here! Yesterday I had my interview for the ALT position and I had a great experience at the time, I got to the embassy in good time and just sat in the lobby area for a bit where I just calmed myself down a bit and chilled. After 10 minutes or so, a JET alumni greeted me and took me up to the interview area - they basically just told me a bit about themself and how the events would proceed. First of all, I was guided to a room with another JET alumni who also gave me some of their own background, a list of information to bear in mind as a JET applicant, and I proceeded to have what felt like a very long conversation with them about what is was like, things they learnt about herself and Japan, how it influenced their career etc.
After that, I then proceeded to the main interview room, which was a very wide room with a chair in the middle and a panel behind a desk. As JETs and alumni will be aware (but I was not aware of), the questions started immediately as soon as I sat down! I was a bit taken aback and just quickly clarified whether or not that was the start of the interview or not, but from there I had a 15-20 minute chat with them about my SOP and generic questions. There was a Japanese questions bit of course, I think I did good! The last question was a really tricky one so I just mulled over it out loud in Japanese before saying something along the lines of 'that really is a tricky question!' All in all, I didn't feel too scared or nervous in the interview, I have done a lot of interviews throughout my 4 year professional career so far, and the prep I did beforehand certainly helped.
HOWEVER, while I initially walked out feeling confident and buzzing, since yesterday I have been dwelling a bit on the interview and I've started nit-picking some of my responses, thinking of how I could have answered things differently, and I do feel like I could have said a lot more! I understand this is normal for any job interview, exam etc. but especially given the long wait for results, I just wanted to make this post to ask previous and current JETs about how you guys dealt with that long wait and feelings of doubt that might spring up in your mind post-interview? I still think I could have given better or more concise answers but I am also trying to get my mind off of it by doing things with friends, etc.
Anyway, I'd like to wish everyone else who has done an interview already or is about to the best of luck!

I received an email about some updates on the Flex feature. I went to the app to check then, just after clicking on flex, got a message that a new card was being issued! What the heck!
I do NOT want a new card. I did not ask for a new card! I'm travelling and I NEED my current card working.
Also, I see that the curve fronted feature disappeared! That is the key feature I use curve and pay metal for. What happened?

I have an appt to discuss with my provider, but has anyone/will anyone be attempting a vbac? I’m undecided for a variety of reasons, but I had a lot of pain after my c section and with two toddlers at home I was hoping to avoid the prolonged downtime for healing. I’ve had two friends with successful vbacs, but their first kids were singletons and mine were large (for them) twins.
Looking for all stories, good/bad + reasons you will/will not.
