I have constantly prayed for things, material and immaterial.
I have been a life long believer, and got really sick after I was baptized a few years ago. I have prayed and fasted, I’ve changed aspects of my life - and ai have even pledged to God that if he were to just help me out of this dark place that I would use my blessing to help others in a similar situation.
Nothing has worked. I have prayed to God for everything from going to a good college to healing of cancer patients, I have been consistently let down by God.
I went through a spout of using crystals when I had gotten really tired of praying and asking God before - and it worked, but I gave those up once I got baptized.
I had prayed that I would see some good news for my birthday today regarding my health, but I am once again, let down.
I don’t know how you guys do it. It’s tiring. I am tired of being let down everytime I pray, I am tired of making excuses for the let downs. It finally hit me that if crying on my birthday after fasting and praying for a breakthrough is God’s will, than I am not sure that’s a will I want for my life.

My boyfriend works for a Home Remodeling company. His job is to go door-to-door offering free estimates for home improvement projects. A few days ago, he visited an elderly woman’s home and had a nice chat with her, he even sent me a selfie of them to which I responded "Aww, did you adopt a grandma?" and he said "At first I thought so, but then she said if I ever break up with my girlfriend, I can come over for dinner. She has a nice fireplace and a big TV. I got out of there so fast. His company found out she was "unmarketable" for their services, so he moved on with his day and didn’t think about it again.
Today, his boss called him in and suspended him because the woman filed a complaint, claiming that she gave him a check for work to be done and is now demanding a refund. This is completely false, he never accepted any money, and his role doesn’t even involve handling payments.
Now, he’s at risk of losing his job over something he didn’t do. What steps can he take to prove his innocence and fight this suspension? Is this even legal? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I live in Asheville NC; although we are surrounded by woods, if we need to evacuate *again* (we evacuated after Helene) I'm expecting we would head to stay with family or a hotel, vs head to the hills and camp.
I've looked at quite a few lists online for bugging out, but I'm getting a bit confused on what I should pack if our plan is to hotel vs camp/rural.

Hi! My toddler (20 months) and took an interest in skiing and constantly asks to put them on and go lol.
She is pretty good at shuffling on near flat and loves to go downhill but she needs to lean forward. She has pretty good language skills but does know lean lol
I snowboard so I don’t even know where to start. Any ski teachers out there have any tips on how to teach them to lean forward on the skis?

I'm 16f pots for 8 months as well as has suspected GERD. I woke up today, feeling super out of wack, not like how I normally feel. I usually feel okay-ish in the mornings and afternoons but today I feel like I'm dying. I woke up and my stomach started burning so badly, same with my throat. I tried to down a little bit of water but it didn't work. My head feels super funny and I'm sweating and trembling. And my chest feels so tight that I can't breathe, I have these symptoms normally with my pots and acid reflux but today they're on a whole other level. I dont know if I should go to the hospital or not, I'm just really freaking out.

Car is extremely healthy with 64k now on Ford Perf tune, and this is the first time they’ve come out like this this was fully stock.
