i have noticed that i am not a person with confidence , i tend to doubt myself heavily
especially when it comes to trying new things or talking to people
i let opportunities slip past me ,because of my inaction
i am hyper analyticAL AND too self conscious of myself to try anything new
i was wondering what are some things to develop more grit , toughness and belief in myself that i can do anything and then actually do it

I have been remodeling this bathroom since August and just when I got to the point I thought I could install the shower pan and drywall I was advised by my grandpa (the owner of the house I live in) that my copper shower piping is on an exterior wall and has a nasty habit of freezing and bursting during the winter months. So after unwrapping all of the insulation around it and confirming it literally lays against the exterior wall, I decided that yeah, PEX is probably a good idea.
What I want to do: keep the existing shower valve and pipe above and below it with PEX. There is no tub spout, it's a stand alone shower. It currently has 1/2" copper pipe.
I thought it would be as easy as using a torch to get the existing copper pipes out of the valve, attaching some male or female PEX adaptors to the valve, and then going on my merry way! But after researching my valve, it appears to be CC connection and I'm not finding any adaptors for THAT. Am I not looking in the right place? Is there something I am missing? Or are there no adaptors and I should just cut the copper pipe a few inches from the valve and then use sharkbites to convert to PEX there?
I am an EXTREME amateur, apologies, and I'm mostly working with found materials due to a nonexistent budget.
The shower valve in question: Moen 1016P positemp CC.
P.s. The shower valve was leaking so I already bought a replacement cartridge for it, and really cannot afford to buy a new valve unless it's the absolute last resort.

 | They are my new favorite furnitures. So small and cute and the only small item that isn't 2×2. Like look at the baby mallard in the second picture for example. It might be the smallest looking item but it takes up way too much space for it's size. Also the bunnies are fully rotatable unlike some items that can only face to two direction (usually its just the same but mirrored with no back design).
