I really like the few stories who got an cinematographic adaptation but I feel like I am missing a lot in his books, I watched Shining, Doctor Sleep, The Outsider, The Mist and Carrie, there are another series or movies? How can I start to read the "King verse" some friends told me the Dark tower kinda joins the creatures and monsters in the same verse, with all that I told, what do you guys recommend to me?

First, I would like to say hello and that I’m happy to see how much this sub has grown. I get sick in tired of conservatives thinking that if there was a “battle of brass” that liberals or left-leaning people would just roll over because we have no way to protect ourselves.
That being said, “Do you think it’s a good idea to post pictures of our firearms here”?
I ask because we all know trump and his pathetic loyalist love to operate outside the law or downright make new ones. With him already having tried to ban bump stocks, his AG pick Pam Bondi, Director of the FBI Kash Patel & congress proposal to have anyone labeled as antifa as a “domestic terrorist” I can’t help but think that this regime will found a way to turn the government on the American people.
Am I overacting? Open to any and all criticism.

I’m taking a sick day tomorrow because I need a breather. Every day this month has felt progressively more exhausting. Morale in DC has been so incredibly low and the events going on have been incredibly anxiety inducing. And then the plane crash. I live half a mile away, the recovery efforts have shut down local parks I visit I feel sick to my stomach with heartbreak for what happened. Yet it feels like business as usual at work. I can’t do another 12 hour day I feel so profoundly overwhelmed by the state of Washington right now my mental health has never been affected like this by world events before

I'm trying to turn off player trigger for traps, but everytime I type the command it doesnt turn it off.
Found a post on a steam forum where a person asked how to stop triggering traps, and the comments had "false" instead of "off" typed after the command so i did that too but it still doesnt work. Tried it both ways like 4 times each.
Is there another command i'm missing besides "playerstriggertraps off/false" ?

I just don't. I know this post is like a ton of others but I'm just so disappointed and heartbroken, it's beyond me. The only thing that beats this pain is honestly when I lost a parent and my grandparents. We still live together and the situation with our third flatmate has gotten super toxic and petty (about bills and stuff like that). Him and I only chatted about that for the first time briefly tonight after not having had any contact for the past 2 months. He was so cold and distant, impartial and matter of fact about it. I just don't get it. Obviously this is without much context but it hurts to even write. I was so close to tearing up in front of him tonight and asking for a normal conversation, and saying how ugly and shitty this end is and how it doesn't do any justice to anything we've been through.
I'm leaving this house very soon with such a heavy heart. It's beyond me. How do people even move on after a horrible break up that involved petty house stuff and where the partner breaking up acted super cold.
He broke up yet I decided to leave the house. All my sense of home right now has been lost.
How do people ever want to be with anyone else anymore, when you've been through this and you know just how much it hurts. I'm so hurt and deeply disappointed.
I've never loved anyone else this way. This is my first normal relationship and it couldn't have ended in a worse way. The pain is unbearable right now.

My dog has been having some allergy issues (mild skin irritation) for a few months now and her vet has recommended that she go on an elimination diet - essentially 6 weeks of a hydrolysed protein diet, and then slowly reintroduce other foods to work out what she’s allergic to. The problem is that she’s a fussy eater, and is refusing to eat the hypoallergenic food. It’s now been close to 36 hours since she last had a meal. Does anyone have any advice or ideas to make the food more palatable?
