Hi reddit I've been dealing with this girl for 6 years. She is 25 I'm 29 i didnt think that age gap was too much and maybe it isn't and it is just her. I don't even know where to start but i guess a good place is that she spent a lot of her teenage years ina mental hospital. For a variety of reaaons that she has honestly never truly told me the whole story. Sometimes the details of why she was there change too. When we fight she makes it seem like the state kept her there even though she didnt need to be there but other times she says she would, "attact the staff and have to be restrained and would try to escape all the time." Anyways our relationship has gotten worse and worse over the years and I'm not trying to say she is the only problem like I'm not perfect but her behavior has become increasingly more concerning. She's probably the laziest person I've ever met and that's coming from someone who is also very lazy. She never cleans up after herself and not just like her clothes and her dishes I mean everything. She eats her dinner in bed and gets crumbs and shit all up in the bed, leaves the food she didnt finish out for someone else to put away/ clean up. She works at a school during the week and is tired from work all the time, this is her excuse. So you would think maybe she will clean it in the morning, wrong, it is left there to be cleaned until someone else (being me) gets rid of it. I've tried asking nicely if she will clean up a little or at all and she manipluates what i say to make me seem like the asshole for even asking. She doesn't say thank you either when I clean up her dirty dishes and put away her left over food, or even ask if I can put it away for her she just kinda expects me to do it. If this sounds like I'm being petty understand that this happens pretty much every night its not just like once ina while. She will also get mad at me if I don't put her left-overs away for her. She has a problem with left-overs too she will never re heat them and eat them she makes me put them away for her and lets them sit in the fridge until they spoil or get moldy, she does this with new groceries as well. Everytime we go to the grocery store she makes me help her pay for the food and then lets some of it go bad in the fridge just wasting money and food that someone else could have eaten. I've made it clear to her that this behavior bothers me ina nice way more than once but that never goes anywhere. When I try to explain the reasons why it bothers me and ways to help stop doing it or anything like that she usually manipulates the situation into a fight. Even if i approach it ina nice way. Its been like this for years and these things alone aren't enough to leave someone over but the fact that I have been like hey i don't like it when you do this multiple times and she just doesn't care means she doesn't care about my feelings. We live together in her grandparents house with her grandparents and her mom who is in her 40s,( the grandparents are in their 80s). I have lived here for 3 years now I think and we moved in from my house because she didn't want to stay there anymore. We would fight all the time at my house over everything so I moved in here with her instead. Her grandparents are always complaining about money and how they need more because the bills are high, so she comes to me and asks me for money meanwhile she leaves every light in the house on, she leaves space heaters on in rooms and leaves the room and doesn't go back (a huge fire hazard). One of her cats likes the sink running so her and her mom leave the sink running constantly and i mean constantly like even when the cat isn't in the bathroom they still leave it running and every time I go and turn it off within minutes it's back on. So not only am I following my fiance around the house turning off electricity she left on but I also have to play turn the sink off all the time because my brain is unsetteled by the amount of water and electricity that is being wasted. They leave the tv on when they leave the house "for the cat." I'm the only person in the house who tries to midigate the amount of water and electricity that is used and I'm also not allowed to shower in this house. The grandmother doesn't want me to shower here for whatever reason so I have to go back to my moms house to shower (it's like a 30 min walk). Not very fun to make that walk when your tired from working all day and we only have one car that is in my fiance's name and that she pays for so she wont let me use it to go home to take a shower, and then she gets mad at me when I'm " gone too long." Too long is more than an hour to her. It usually takes me 3 to go home and shower, 30 to walk there 30 to walk back and around 2 hours to shower and what have you. I dont go back to my house often so I frequently have to clean when I'm there because I'm there like 2 times a month so i don't really think 2 hours is that long. But yea if your doing the math I dont get to shower as much as i need or would want to because everytime i try and leave to go do it my fiance gives me a hard time until she convinces me not to go or it gets too late and I am too tired to walk. So i constantly smell gross because anytime i try and go home she fights me. My fiance also forced me to have a child with her even though I said I didn't want one. She told me her birth control was giving her side effects so she stopped taking it. She said we had to be more careful when we would have sex so she wouldn't get pregnant..... it didn't work. When she got pregnant i told her i didn't want it for financial reasons, we still don't even have our own place or any money it just wasn't a smart decision. Plus i was being selfish I didn't want to take care of a kid and I was afraid probably because my parents split up when i was like 7 and it was messy and my fiance and i fought all the time why would bringing a child into that situation help at all? Her response was "I don't care I'm having the baby and if u don't like it you can screw." So during her pregnancy i wasn't very nice to her and i didn't help her with a lot of stuff. Ahe still holds a grudge about it and brings it up everytime we fight. Fast forward, it's been a year since the baby was born I love her. She is the best thing that ever happened to me and i can't imagine my life without this child anymore. My fiance and I's relationship has continued to decline however, we are basically not together anymore at all she tells everyone that and that I'm a dead beat because I don't work all the time. I work 3 different inconsistant jobs at night and watch the baby during the day while she goes to work because her job pays more than any of mine do. She complains about having to go to work every single day and says I should be the one working, but when I try to go into my jobs she complains that she needs more help with the baby. She also complains all the time about money and how everything should be equal between us like we should both be paying for the baby's formula, diapers etc. Witch i completely agree with, but i haven't been able to help pay because she gets angry every time i try and go into work. So i don't really see how im supposed to help finacially. When she gets home from work she never wants to help with the baby, when I need a break and try to give the baby to my fiance she usually gives her to her mom or her granmother to watch her so she can relax. She hasn't been helping with the baby's dishes, clothes or feeding and any time I ask her for help its always a fight or a guilt trip. Her and I have 2 pet ferrets together that she does this with too she doesnt take care of them and when I say hey i cleaned their poop last time will you do it this time? She always trys to fight with me. Theres so much more too that I'm getting too tired to type out i really don't know what the fuck to do here and it's very mentally taxing to have to deal with someone like this, like I said there is so much more that I don't even want to get into but again I'm not perfect i do shit to her and am annoying sometimes too. She just kinda manipulates me into thinking I'm the problem so often that I kinda don't know if I'm ever right about anything anymore, and her family is always on her side no matter how wrong she is. She could walk up to me and punch me in the face for no reason and they would not say a word because they don't want her to yell at them. They are enablers and I think they are just so sick of dealing with her that they would rather her just do w.e it is she is doing that have to fight with her about it.
Tl:dr- my fiance is threatening that I wont be allowed to see my child anymore and just genuinely has no respect for anyone and has delusions of grandeur.

I came across something a few weeks ago where Rush was mentioned as being a main influencer of "Math Rock" because fans harp on about time signatures. The rest of the pisstake went on to say if Rush was still playing the IT departments of that city would have no one around if something happened. That cracked me up a bit because, funny enough, this Rush fan just happens to be in IT!
So, my question to the Rush fandom is, are STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering, Maths) people more likely to be subconsciously drawn to Rush (or I guess Prog in general)? I reckon there's some strong overlap.

Good afternoon,
I was wondering if Giovanni’s take next all effect also affects status conditions? In the game app in help section it mentions that it causes the attacks of the opponent to “miss all allies”. So therefore any status conditions rendering attacks that would’ve supposedly targeted all allies will only affect Giovanni protecting all allies from status condition? If this is the case I might actually scout him.

Hey guys, question. I quit around 43 days ago, and things are going just fine - however, my sleep seems so excessive. I need a minimum of 9 hours just to feel okay, and 10 hours to have a good day. This far into withdrawals do you think these requirements are likely to change? I mean, compared to what I went through with caffeine this will do but I’d love those extra few hours in the day.

My bedroom, while comfy, feels a little lopsided. The bed really only works on this wall (I have tried other configurations). I feel like the large wall in front of the bed needs something. I'm willing to invest a bit, but I am not sure what direction to go in.
- My bedroom is my "nerdier" area, having a small area with figures/art is a central requirement.
- All the art/frames can be moved - I do like the darker wall to help with sleep.
- The wood chest is filled with sheets and pillows.
- I'm a nerdy single dude, but I like to keep it tasty.
