I've been playing the game since its release, but I'm thinking about stopping because of the limited skins. I know it's silly, but I didn't have any money at the begining so I've always hoped they would bring some limited skins back in the future, but I guess they won't. I still like the game and all but the skins are a big part of it and it's rather frustrating as I don't really want to buy a similar skin to compensate for the limited one. I don't want any skin, I want the one related to the time I watched an fps championshiop with my brother before he passed.
I'm gonna miss the game, but that really made me upset and demotivated over the years as ranking up was never really important to me.

I changed my bios ram speed from 5k to 6k and now it shows cpu and ram lights on the motherboard and won't boot. I tried removing cmos battery and waiting 30 seconds and plugging in power but it didn't work, also tried shorting cmos reset. After a bit I booted it on and now the fans are blood red. Should I call an exorcist?!

So I 28(m) don’t drink and get a lot of surprised looks when I tell people that, women included.
For context I’m from a western country and there’s this assumption that guys from my ethnic/ cultural group drink.
I don’t expect a partner to not drink either since it’s very common where I’m from. But it got me thinking for those that don’t drink, does this affect who you date? If so why?

As I'm sure most of us are probably aware, a debate happened a few days ago about a new addon for...... using AI to create 3D models. Obviously, this is not good, as not only does it lead to job loss, but also oversaturation of garbage.
Should AI be regulated, or at least AI companies be regulated? Absolutely. AI is just one big copyright infringement set.
At the same time, to what extent should regulation be allowed without negatively impacting people that use ai trained on open source data?
I tried ChatGPT a few weeks ago as a last resort for one of my projects, and it was surprisingly very effective at outputting the code, but then I started feeling guilty, because even though I know the feature I want, and how it works completely, and I spent weeks with ChatGPT trial and erroring until I got close, I still used ChatGPT for it because what I thought was simple in my head was harder than I thought in reality.
Just yesterday, I decided to just.... erase it all. The chat log, the add-on, documentation.... all of it. Start all over again from scratch, manually, with what little stuff I can get done, because the ethical dilemma regarding this is getting to me, and starting over is not going well. I'm making an add-on for a feature that gives Blender more functionality in the animation department.
I'd... love to hear feedback on the whole thing. About AI and regulation, about ChatGPT and using it for Blender add-ons... about whether I should use AI and continue being accepting of it, fear that regulation could do more harm than good since I feel like it will likely backfire on the people instead... I just don't know. This is wild west era all over again.
