2024.11.28 01:21 ThrowRA_djieeisidirj I’m in love with my best friend. What do I do?
The long and short of it is I’ve been in love with my best friend for 6 years. He started seeing someone when I met him and they’re now together. We’re so close, one big fall out maybe a year after we met which lead me to later drunkenly texting him confessing my feelings, to which he never replied, but then a few months on he reached out and we reconnected and right now we’re as close as we’ve ever been, he recently saw me through my first relationship too (a car crash relationship that I’m now glad to be out of) but he met him one time and he seemed to like him. We’ve had a couple sleepovers for the sake of ease as we live in different cities now, nothing has ever happened and we’ve always slept in different beds. Although the last time I feel like maybe something could’ve happened, we were up chatting on his bed in the early hours of the morning after a night spent messing about and having fun with his few housemates. I’ve never met his gf. Sometimes I want to ask him if she’s ok with me being close with him and having days out together but I never have the nerve.
I love having him in my life and as a friend he gives me so much and my life is so much better with him in it, he makes me laugh, I love how playful he is, he makes me feel confident and great about myself, and he has the same outlook on life as me and wants similar things. But am I just setting myself up for heartbreak if he marries hethey have kids. Could I ever be truly happy for him like a good friend would be? What would other people do in this situation. I’ve really consistently felt the same way the entire time I’ve known him. Do other people think it’s weird I’m so close with him and still never met his girlfriend? Is there possibility he could feel the same way but not say anything for the sake of his gf.

first full shave in years with the new Slim. went fairly smoothly, some hiccups, no blood. the technique came back to me like riding a bike, but the muscle memory certainly isn't there anymore. the Slim performed admirably, #5 on the first pass #2 on the second. overall a close comfortable shave, which is exactly what i'm looking for.

(for some reason it won’t let me add a flair, but i’m intending for this to be added under the medications flair)
ANYWAY, what has worked for you guys personally when it comes to pain management? currently i have tried OTC pain medicine (duh), mobic, celebrex, methocarbamol, heat, ice, salonpas & icy hot patches, bracing to prevent dislocations/subluxations, and OT / PT.
honestly i haven’t noticed a difference in my joint / muscle pain on any of the medications i’ve tried, and i really don’t want to be taking narcotics for pain management if at all possible. i’ve visited several pain management centers but so far all of them have opted not to treat me due to their lack of knowledge on EDS.
has anyone found anything that has helped them significantly? i’m also open to non-medication suggestions. kind of starting to feel at the end of my rope 🙃

Hi! Do you guys spray your body mists on after you've showered+lotioned. Sorry if this is a dumb question, I just wanted to know if that helps the scent last. ( I will usually do this behind my neck, ears, wrists, behind the knees, and on the ankle - depending on how strong the smell is)
Or do you spray it directly on your clothes, like my mom does lol.
