Good morning plumbers! Last night the spindle on my kitchen sink cold tap broke and water started gushing out of the spout, unable to be turned off (cos the spindle broke). We're hoping to get someone out to replace the whole tap/spout set into a mixer (you know the ones that have both hot and cold on the one spinny tap - and you can pull out a hosey part from the tap spout). Other than buying the exact tap set I want put in, and turning the water off, what else can I do to set the job up for when the plumber arrives? Obviously moving anything out the way is a given, but do I need to drain the catchy pipe part too? Will removing the taps affect that? Or will they do that if it needs doing? How long does a job like this usually take, roughly? I realise I'll be charged for the job as a whole, not for just his hours. But I'd like to make this as seamless as possible for the plumber. Should I open up all the other internal taps so when the waters back on it can escape? I've seen plumbers do that before. I dunno. Any advice would be welcome. I'll also of course secure my dog outside, and possibly my kids too so they're not in his way.

Ok it's not that funny, it's kinda sad actually. So, when I opened a ancient danger on my map, wowie: a monosword! I had no idea this shit was that strong, but hey I wasn't complaining about it.
Then, after I got my first monosword ever, I decided I'd also get my first relic ever. I linked the sword to melee granny and played until the last event: actually stealing the relic. Granny destroyed the mechanoids, but was downed.
Some might've already noticed where this is going, so yeah. I left the monosword behind. After whining for a bit I decided to be a little shit and blame the game to justify turning dev mode on and get another one.
Now now, what's funny about this? The sword I spawned has "Mad Wailing", so in lore the sword was left behind and came back just to curse Granny for the rest of her life.
I traumatized a sword.

Hello! So basically I'm looking for help with workout. I wanted to try joining army and there are some exercises and limits to do so and I want to get in better shape before trying. These are exercises Sit ups with twist Pull ups (major problem as I can't do single one) but I'm trying doing negative ones 60m sprint 12 minutes running
I'm just trying these exercises at home and also cleaned up my diet abit but as newbie in workouts I wonder what other exercises might help me get better results. I want to get into gym but not entirely sure as I need most help with pull ups.

My uncle has tax issues.. We create a IRS online account and log in..
it shows 2011 tax lien ..
in the account balance it has "notice of lien ....80k"
at the bottom it notes:

From my understanding the IRS stop collections after 10 years? if that is so why is the lien still shows in his account? What do i ask for or do if i need to call the IRS to help my uncle. He is poor doesn't have any source of income other than his monthly SSA of $990/mo.
He doesn't speak much English and doesn't even remember what happen in 2011. ANy advice or insight would help.. I ve personally never had to deal with the IRS myself. will i be in the hot-seat by even helping my uncle?

Hi, I have the choice of studying abroad or working at national park and I’m having a hard time deciding between the two. I really want to work at a national park because I miss hiking and I loved the friends I made, and could spend my entire summer there, and I feel like I learn a lot of life experience, and I’d make money, but I would graduate one year later. If I did study abroad, I’d have to stay in my hometown for a portion of the summer, and it doesn’t seem as exciting or liberating for me, but I’d graduate on time.
I worked at a national park last summer and i miss it every day. I made so many friends, hiked so much, and loved the life experience I got. I wouldn’t be able to do it again with my friend the next summer because it’s his last time doing it too. And not gonna lie, I don’t think I like my major too much or studying.
I asked iching for advice on choosing between the two and I got 62.6 to 56, which I assume means to temper my expectations on seasonal work?
I asked what if I chose to work at the national park over study abroad and I got 40.2 to 16, which I assume means I’ll be free and happy?
I asked what if I chose study abroad over it and I got 56.6 to 62, which I don’t really know what it means?
Advice?
