“Every journey begins with a choice…”
On January 3, 2023, I embarked on an adventure with my friend, Nick Glauser, to play through and complete the Pokédex of each generation of Pokémon. That evolved into a personal quest to complete the Master Dex. Today, I completed that quest.
The Master Dex is a fan-made challenge in which the player catches all (as of writing this) 1,024 Pokémon from their original regions with the player as their original trainer (unless they were an event-only Pokémon). For example, while you can catch Pikachu in every Pokémon game, it first appeared in Red and Blue version which took place in the Kanto region; therefore, those looking to complete the Master Dex must catch Pikachu in a game that takes place in the Kanto region and must catch Pikachu themselves and not get it via trade or an event.
To accomplish this task, I played through at least one game from every generation (Red, Crystal, Omega Ruby, Shining Pearl, White, Y, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, Shield, and Violet) and either grabbed version exclusive Pokémon from the other version to breed, traded to breed, or actually played through the other version, as well. I used Legends: Arceus to help fill out the Sinnoh Dex (since they take place in the same region in two different time periods) and used an Action Replay to get event exclusives from the 3DS era that are no longer available.
Among my favorite accomplishments: -Completing the Kanto and Johto Pokédexes using the original Game Boy games via the 3DS virtual console. -Converting the glitched Mew in Red into a “legitimate” event Mew. -Learning how to glitch event items from the mid-2000s into my copy of Emerald so I could participate in the Deoxys and Mew events. -Catching a shiny Shelmet in Y. -Catching the Pokérus in both Emerald and Y. -Completing all the quests in Legends: Arceus and battling God. -Completing a grueling research task in Pokémon Go to get a legitimate Shiny Mew. -Completion of the Form Dex (collecting extra copies of Pokémon whose appearances change based on gender, region, abilities, etc.)
I have a lot to be thankful for this year, but this was a fun challenge that saw me through all of 2023. I conquered every region (I had never played the Sun and Moon games before), and have a collection I am immensely proud of. Gotta catch ‘em all!

Ammunition was running low, and the number of wounded was increasing. It was a sensible choice, as it saved lives and allowed for at least some medical assistance to be provided to the injured.
How did you exit? Tell us about the process.
First, we evacuated the seriously wounded. We left Azovstal through a large corridor, with Russian soldiers and militants from the Donetsk People's Republic standing on both sides.

Hi all! My George is 7 months and now that he is recovered from his neuter I am interested in doggie daycare. I work from home, but he loves attention so I can’t get much done when he is out of his crate. I know he loves other dogs, he goes and visits my parents house who have two goldens and plays well. I also have two daycare spots right across from my apartment. I thought it would be nice for him to get some energy out and socialize once a week instead of being locked up.
I guess I am just a little hesitant because of the small breed (hes just under 15 lbs). Does anyone have any experience (positive or negative) with daycare for your cav?

2025.01.20 14:51 Ok_Hyena9373 Issue: Automate Misreporting Device Information for One Endpoint
We noticed that one of our endpoints has been showing the wrong information for hostname, IP address, last logged on user, system specs, serial number, etc. Pretty much everything except the friendly name assigned to the device is the wrong device information.
This has happened in the past and was caused by two endpoints having been assigned the same agent ID when we installed Automate on them. In that instance we were able to resolve the issue because we knew which two devices were getting mixed up.
In the present situation, we do not have another endpoint with the same agent ID and the information this endpoint is reporting doesn't match any other endpoint we support. Furthermore, we don't have any clients setup with the domain or subnet this endpoint is reporting to belong to and we've never sold or supported the model of computer the serial number it shows belongs to.
I have submitted a ticket to Automate support, but they just keep telling me to uninstall/reinstall the agent and they basically have no way to know where the information the endpoint is showing is coming from. I feel like this should be more of a concern because it looks we're seeing endpoint information from another client.
Has anyone else run into this issue? If so, were you able to determine the source/cause with (or without) support's assistance?

24F in India and have been dating this guy 27M since 8 months and it’s been the best relationship I have ever been in. He’s treated me very nicely and I would have in all actuality not have thought twice about getting married to him if it were not for religious differences. He’s a muslim guy and there is no way I can negotiate with my family regd the same. He is in a similar position and we both know that eventually we’re going to get married to other people who may or may not match our current partnership. It’s just my luck that the best guy I’ve ever come across (and my exes have been pretty well-established and respected people in their own domains) has to be someone I cannot spend my entire life with. We know he’s going to get married before me and thinking of that makes my heart drop. In parallel, in another unfortunate card that I was served, most of my extended family is shifting/ has shifted to the US including my own parents. And it’s just me getting left out due to my age :) and a couple of more reasons. So my family is trying to get me over there through marriage (with my consent entirely ofc). I have about one more year until they start really putting some pressure on me. WHAT SHOULD I DO??

How do you feel about the 1st person mode returning once more for GTA VI?
I hope they improve it a bit, I remember feeling sick trying it on GTA V. But I also think is a great way to enjoy and notice details inside the game itself (car interiors, rooms, NPCs, etc)
