I'm in my late 20s and have been living in the UK for the past 8 years. Both my parents passed away last year, leaving me several properties, lands, and their business, which is currently run by my uncle in Yangon. Initially, I was waiting for the military takeover to calm down, but it seems like it's not going to end anytime soon. I think it's time for me to go back to Yangon because, sooner or later, I'll have to. I genuinely don't have any friends back home to ask about the situation for someone like me returning. Will I get drafted into the military if I go back now? Will I be in constant danger living there? I remember it being fun back when I was there but how is it like now?

I know this question has probably been asked a lot before, but I want to check in for 2025. I’ve already asked in Annas_Archive (just to cover all bases) and am still a bit hesitant, so I figured I’d ask here as well.
I’m considering uploading some books I’ve downloaded from Anna’s Archive to my Google Play Books account but am worried about the possibility of getting my account banned or facing other issues. I thought about using Calibre to strip the metadata and make the files look more generic to be safer. Does anyone have experience with this? Does modifying the files like that reduce any risk, or is there still a potential problem?
I’m just looking to make sure everything is on the up and up before I proceed, and I really don’t want to take unnecessary chances.
Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated!
