2025.01.22 10:02 Important-Asparagus5 New skis, should I get new boots right away too? Difficult to adjust later?
So this is my first time buying my own gear, before this gear has been gifted to me as a complete set for Christmas (so I've never actually chosen my own gear before and I am so anxious about making poor choices). I just placed an order for new skis (Salomon QST 98 Lumen W) and I'm really excited about them. I plan to get bindings mounted at the local ski shop as it's faster. However - I'm on the fence about buying new boots. The ones I have work fine and will certainly get me through this season, but they are older. I plan on getting new boots, but I was considering if I should wait until the end of the season, or possibly get new ones at the start of next season... Or if I should just go ahead and get them now so everything is brand new.
How much of a hassle is it to get the bindings on my new skis set to my current boots, and then change it once I get new boots? The boots would be the same mondopoint, so I assume that bindings wouldn't have to be re-mounted or anything?

does anyone know if coloured hair (non-natural) is ok for passport photos? what will it become after process it & when they make it black and white?
2 years ago, my roots grew out so the the bottom half of my hair was purple and the top part was black… ICA decided to edit my photo and turned up the contrast, editing the rest of my hair black… it turned out really bad and slightly distorted due to the edit.
basically i had a bad experience and just wanted to know if there’ll be any difference if someone had a full head of dyed hair and not awfully grown out. (pink or green or smt)

I just finished with Shippuden last week (also my Naruto was my first anime ever) and started Boruto this week. I am on episode 60 of Boruto and his attitude towards his father is so annoying. He does the best he can and even if he has his problems with him he shouldn't go undermining him everywhere. Also I don't understand why did the show Nerd Naruto so bad. He was the guy who went up against a god. I can understand Boruto is the main character here but the writers shouldn't have taken Naruto and nerfed him so bad.

Well, the same story every year.
My car insurance is due for renewal. I paid £350 last year and the renewal quote I got was £550. Bear in mind, nothing has changed since last year.
I do a quick shop around and find quotes for about £280. I then call my insurance provider and the first thing I say is 'i would not like to go ahead with my renewal'. Then, they do the usual 'so sorry, we would love to keep you, let's see what we can do, let's run your details again '. Lo and behold, their system now quotes me £290!!
Why do we have to go through this farce every year? Why can't they just give a honest quote? It's so appalling that every year they try to pull off a scam by hoping you are busy or couldn't be bothered to give them a call and say that their renewal quote is nonsense.
