My name is Josh and I’m a DJ, Producer, Gamer, Stoner, Dad, Music Enthusiast, and husband from Dallas. I’m looking for some new people with similar interests in my age range that can keep up a convo with me and talk.
Let me start by saying that I am in an open relationship. Me and my wife date separately. I have tried to go out and meet people but there’s no one that can really keep up with a convo or accept my condition. But I’m mainly just looking for friends first. Being a DJ is a lonely job especially in my case currently. And I just want someone who will talk to me day in and day out. Someone who’d hop on the phone and FaceTime and smoke with me. Someone who’d game with me and talk to me. Someone who’d hop out to my shows if they lived in Dallas and be my backpack on the occasional motorcycle ride.

Hello, hopefully I can get some insight from some people on here for how to proceed as the company we purchased from is of no help. We got new cabinets (white shaker if that matters) installed about a month ago and I need a new range hood. I finally figured out I need a range hood insert type as we had the hood range cover installed along with the cabinets. The issue I am running into is the opening is not a rectangle. Here is a rough sketch of the shape (yes I know the measurements don't perfectly add up). I think it is called a "T shape"

At the wall, between the cabinets, is 36 .75"

Then it has these corners at the front of the hood cover with an opening of 32.5". Picture below is view looking up at the hood cover.

Lastly, the depth is just under 19"

When shopping for range hoods they either come in 30" or 36" and are rectangles. 30" is too small and 36" is too big. So I found a 34" at Lowes that I thought would fit right in there and I would have to add some blocking to secure and do some trim to fill any gaps. When I went to pick it up, right on the box it said "36 inch", so they re ordered it and again they sent the same one. Clearly the 34 is a glitch in their system and it does not actually exist. So I spoke to their cabinet guy and he told me I needed to buy a liner that is the shape of the cover, then buy the vent that fits the opening in that liner. Doing some research I was able to find some 36" liners, but at least one of the dimensions are off by half an inch or more. I am coming to you because I am lost and frustrated at this point. Do I just buy the rectangle that will fit the best and make it work or is there an actual solution out there? Are gaps normal things to need to cover with these? Nothing we bought was custom made which is the reason this is so confusing to me.

Hi all, I’m new here so I appreciate any and all guidance. My dog received her rabies booster in December (3 year) which we needed to get to travel to another country.
However, we’re trying to go to the UK in March, and the vets in Europe are saying she needs ANOTHER rabies booster in march in order to get an EU passport.
Should I worry about over vaccinating my dog against rabies? I’ve seen mixed reviews, but the vet over here say it’s fine.

I'm building an auditing tool.
I have an interface that shows me the thing I'm auditing. If the customer isn't doing the thing, I want to raise an action for them to do the thing. When I click the "Add Action" button, I get the form to add a new record to the action table. This action record will need to be linked to the record that I was originally looking it. I know I can click and select the record I want to link, but there are many.
What would be great is if the add record form had the linked records already selected based on the page that opened the form.

For context, I’m 25F and have my own small online business which grew out of a freelancing gig. I also work a part time admin job 3 days a week (it’s a pretty toxic workplace and honestly makes me feel as though those days are wasted when I could be working on my business BUT it does mean I get a security blanket at the end of each month). Initially, my parents and friends were supportive of my freelancing but now I’m a couple of years out of uni, they think I should focus on getting a “real job” (e.g, Corporate 9-5).
I’m not against this idea (I have experience in marketing and I am definitely a career-oriented person) but I just really want to give my business a go. The business doesn’t cost much to run (it’s online and consultancy based) but it does take a lot of time and ironically marketing it takes the most. I feel pretty overwhelmed with where to start with doing everything myself and can’t currently afford to hire anyone to help.
A marketing job elsewhere has come up and my parents, who I still live with, are pushing me to go for it. It does look pretty good but it’s full-time and I worry it will take my focus away from the business. They’re very unsupportive of the idea of me taking my business full-time and it’s starting to feel quite demotivating living at home when any failure or setback is just seen to them as a reason why I shouldn’t be pursuing the business. I don’t have the funds to move out.
TLDR: should I stick with the current crappy part time role and work my business alongside it, take the business full time (a risk as little capital atm), or move to a full time marketing job for a year for some security? Also, any advice on how to manage all areas of the business yourself when time is an issue? Any opinions or guidance would be really helpful because I just feel overwhelmed rn.
