I appreciate how YTTV allows up to 3 devices at once, and the library feature, allowing to view an episode on demand. I also like how Youtube TV is just an app and no box is necessary. 2025.01.22 19:14 harara_ Rented house heating not working overnight - House temp in the 40s
Me and my roommates are renting a house and during the last couple of nights our furnace has stopped working around 10pm, making around 45 degrees throughout the night. Heating goes back into working in the morning and then goes off at night. We have no schedule set up on our thermostat, and we have tried to restart the furnace but it goes off after a minute or two. By the time maintenance comes in the morning the furnace it's working again and they say that since it's up and running they cannot do any diagnoses (even we have videos documenting the issue). Something similar happened back in December but given it was a one time thing all they did was changing the air filter, they claim that is not the problem this time.
This morning we were told they'd send an HVAC technician but later called to say they're not sending anyone UNLESS it stops working BEFORE 5pm. When we called them last night all they say it's that they're sorry the house it's in the 40s but they cannot send anyone in until the morning. Given the temperatures in our area (below 0 for the last couple of nights) we got an hotel and spend the night there. We're afraid this is gonna keep happening. We're only halfway through the winter and we feel these are inhabitable conditions.
Our lease forbids the use of space heaters unless allowed by the landlord on emergencies (they haven't given us permission to do this neither we own space heaters), and it also doesn't state anything regarding HVAC maintenance (besides changing the filters)/emergency repairs.
Is there something we can do to force them send an HVAC guy when it stops working at night? Should we pay for the technician and ask them to pay us back? Can we/Should we declare this inhabitable conditions and move out early?
Please help! We're out of state/international students and are not familiar with tenants rights in the state.

I have injured my right shoulder(ac joint) doing incline bench press it was 6 months ago. I basically went straight to physical therapy doing everything with bands, dry needling, suction cups etc. I did ultrasound and my tendons are okay just the joint that was a little swollen I still had and have full range of motion, can overhead press dumbbells 40kg and do 60kg dips, but when it comes to bench press it hurts. Today I visited orthopaedic doctor and he said that I can’t fix it and have to stop bench press I asked him about MRI and he also said that there is no need but I will pay anyway somewhere else… It’s insane to me that I can do some movements overhead and it’s fine but when it comes down bench press or dumbbells there is that discomfort Im thinking about PRP therapy or BPC 157 will that also help?

Assalamualaikum, I'm a student, and actually, the thing is that six months ago, I started writing a book on Wattpad. In the beginning, I had fewer than a hundred reads, but I continued writing without knowing the proper permissions and rules according to Islam for writing fictional books.
However, when my book became famous and I gained 20k+ reads, I researched Islamic laws and regulations. After that, I made changes to my book accordingly. My book is a dark romance and does not contain any smut, not even a kiss, and my characters are Muslim. I haven't glamorized any haram things such as alcohol or other bad stuff.
Now my book has 540k+ reads, and I'm thinking about pursuing a career as an author after a gap of a few years. But I'm not sure if my book is halal, meaning whether it causes any sins or not.
I need people's help to check my book, suggest improvements, or find mistakes because, as I already mentioned, my readers never give me an honest review according to Islam; they just take it as fun.

I have been away from the game for a few years and I'm refreshing my knowledge on things again by building out a worldbuilding website for personal use. In doing this, I realize I've forgotten some terminology and best practices. I'm working on a WAMP stack using MySQL. I plan to have a table for cities and a table for nations in this world (and other worlds) and I want to associate a nation with a city, and a capital city with a nation. I know I shouldn't be having 2 tables referencing each other (that's an insert/update nightmare) so I thought of having a reference table of only 2 columns and a composite PK consisting of FK to each table (CAPITAL tbl - Nation.id FK, City.id FK) so I can reference that table to find the connections. I want to make sure I'm following as many best practices as possible and building this with a solid design to use as a portfolio application as well. Any help or advice would be much appreciated. I'm already discovering flaws in my design simply by converting the diagram to SQL.
