Hi everyone!
We’re updating our rules to better serve the community. Starting now, links to X (formerly Twitter) are no longer allowed in this subreddit, as per rule 6.
Why the change?
After careful consideration, we’ve decided to ban X links for the following reasons:
- Content Quality: X posts often lack context or meaningful discussion (only worsened by the character limit), which is key to maintaining the engaging conversations we value here.
- Platform Concerns: X has seen a rise in inappropriate or divisive content, and we want to keep this subreddit a positive, inclusive space.
Links to platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube are still allowed as long as they align with the subreddit’s focus and follow our other rules. These platforms tend to provide more accessible, context-rich, and creator-friendly content.
How to share X content going forward:
If you want to share something from X, please take a screenshot or summarize the relevant information in your post or comment instead of linking directly, remembering to make sure the content respects our other rules (mainly, no offensive content).

does anyone else not believe they have alters but then after thinking about if they do they start spacing out like they are dissociating???
i cant stop feeling like im lying but that feels like something that would mean i do have osdd? but it could also just be regular dissociating right?
idk i was diagnosed but its so hard for me to come to terms with. i always feel like im lying, ive been avoiding my therapist lately because i feel like i tricked her into thinking i have it…

I have worked for the company for two years and put in a grievance last week with the meeting being last Wednesday Morning. Ive since requested the minutes from HR but had no response and now ive recieved an email saying that they have come to a decision and the outcome meeting is tomorrow. Do they legally have to provide me with minutes before this? I assumed they would need me to clarify the minutes prior to investigating incase something was noted down incorrectly? Acas said they 'should' provide the minutes within a couple of days but nothing about it being mandatory or before the outcome... TYIA

Ok I need some help. I have no idea how technology works. So I need someone to recommend a laptop to me. My needs are: -I used Chrome for just about everything -I aim to stay in the $200 range but I am willing to adjust to und $500 - I need the computer to be up to date on a technical standpoint so I can avoid needing to upgrade for a while - I need it to be easy to use (I have an intellectual disability) - I need to have a battery that can last. - I want to be able to upload photos from my iPhone and iPad - I need it to easily connect to bluetooth - I would love it if it was one of those computers that can turn into a tablet but it’s not a requirement I really need help. I don’t want to waste my money like last time. Last time I spent a lot of money on a MacBook. While it did last my 5 years, it’s time for me to update because my computer isn’t holding a charge for very long and it is not compatible with the new AI stuff. I’ve also been told that my MacBook (2020) is close to falling off the iOS update list so it’s time for me to say goodbye.

As someone who DOESNT have Mystic Flour or Cream Ferret, what should I sub in for a support healer?
I've been trying the Stardust/Wind Archer 3-support comp which gets the bitch down to like under 10-mil but then my WA dies and it all goes to shit.
I have Snapdragon and Star Coral, but I know they're not as optimal. Been trying to sub in just about every support I own, and nothing's helping.
Send help I'm gonna strangle everyone and then myself.

I love video games and I play mostly on Switch and PC. I really like Warframe, Mario kart and Terraria!
I also love music. I sometimes like to play the piano although I'm very rusty. My favourite genre of music has to be pop punk or metalcore, but honestly I can listen to and enjoy just about anything.
I also love superhero shows and movies, my favourite series right now is Invincible.

I saw Brian Schottenheimer at a Buc-ee’s in Fort Worth yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Beaver Nuggets in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be a good head coach and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the nuggets and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each nugget and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning real loudly.

Hi all, I'm pretty sure I've done my research on this. I've got a 2021 macbook pro M1 and a Panasonic NV-DS38B. I got the firewire to thunderbolt 2 + thunderbolt 2 to thunderbolt 3 cables (apple official ones), plus the firewire cable from the camcorder iLink port. Mac is running Sequoia 15.2. Camcorder is in VCR mode, DV out enabled. The issue is that it doesn't even show up as a camera option in Quicktime, iMovie or VLC. Any tips would be much appreciated as I've hit a dead end. Thanks!
