This may come across as a no-brainer, but this is still worth sharing since there are many scammers out there. I personally NEVER buy from third-party sites (SeatGeek, VividSeats, StubHub, etc) since those sites have very little ticket verification measures and I have known many people personally who have been scammed with fake or duplicate tickets from those sites.
Whenever you are buying a ticket, ONLY do so from one of two places:
- The artist's website (usually there is a tab called "Tour" or "Shows" or something along those lines)
- The venue's website
Both of these sites will direct you to the official "ticket link" where you can buy tickets. This can take the form of Ticketmaster, Eventbrite, ETix, or just the venue's ticket buying portal (typically used by small/independent venues). I encourage people to find the artist's website by going through that artist's official Instagram page, where their site should be linked in their bio.
All too often I hear of people using Google to find ticket sites; they'll type in "Billie Eilish Chicago 2024" or something and the top 5 Google results are usually third-party sites. It's so easy to get scammed or even just end up paying more than face value through those sites.
If the show is sold out, then you will have to turn to third party site / Reddit / Facebook / etc to find tickets. But never go to those sites first! Good luck out there š

2025.01.30 19:40 Neat-Ad-9297 The worst part about recovering from depression.
Most of my life I have struggled with depression and suicidal ideation, since I can remember Ive felt like I have been teetering between death and living. And for a long time, going towards death out of my own volition.
In the past 4 months I have been finally content and happy with my life, and dont get me wrong that has been great. But during these 4 months I have been realizing something. My main problem right now is money, I come from a low income family and having been depressed my whole life, not only is everyone ahead of me which was a card that was already stacked against me But Im also alot older and should be making my own money, if I hadn't been depressed and been more clear minded my life would be 1,000 times better. I would have learned more in school. I would have found ways of making money. The problem with finally being happy is that I'm so clear headed that I now know exactly where I went wrong how bad it was and there is absolutely nothing I can do about it besides moving forward.
I do want to make one thing clear, the uphill battle between life and death that happens when in depression is something I would never wish on anyone. I feel lucky to be where I am at in life. But there is no going back, only forward.

I recently updated my Galaxy S23 to android 14, and now I have a notification which is constantly refreshing itself saying "Couldn't set up Wi-Fi Calling. Try again later in Settings." I went and tried to turn on wifi calling, it made me updated my address, and now it won't turn on at all, but I am still getting the notification.

Hi! Iām sorry if this is the wrong sub for this. I just started a new job and they got me two 1440 27ā monitors. I plugged them in and one is 1440 and the other is downgraded to 1080. Iāve switched the cables and it changes which one is downgraded. I also turned off the higher res monitor and the other one stayed the same. One cable is DisplayPort (1440) and the other is HDMI (1080). In my experience, HDMI should display 1440, so Iām very confused. The graphics card appears to be Intel UHD Graphics 730. Do I need a different kind of HDMI cable or is this a limitation of the graphics card? Any help is appreciated!!!!
