2025.01.30 21:55 CriticalPiglet5308 2016 Ford Fiesta lurches when slowing down
Hello, as the title says I've been having issues with my Ford Fiesta lurching back and forth when I apply pressure on my brakes. I believe it happens all the time but it's the most noticeable when I'm applying brakes.
If at 60+mph and I apply the brakes the car really starts to shake as it slows down. I have been to multiple mechanics and explained my problem. They've replaced rotors, brake pads, chamfered brake pads, replaced transmission, but the issue still persists. It's been happening for well over a year now.
Lurching may not even be the best way to explain it... It's more like my brakes experience zones of more resistance and less resistance causing the car to shake back and forth.
Any ideas on what it could be?

Looking for a current proof system on a relatively tight budget, relatively around 800-900 dollars, self builds and prebuilts welcome, looking for a system to be able to play stuff at relatively high frames on low graphics.. not a story game player or high quality player, do plan to upgrade down the line but I'm too impatient especially with how late I get paid so l figured l'd do something for tax season.

Ontem, ela veio aqui em casa e me chamou atenção que eu tinha andado 4km, segundo o relógio. Achei estranho porque eu não saí da cama pra nada naquele dia kkk Não comentei nada porque ela ficou toda animada, me elogiando, falando que eu estava mudando e tal.
Hoje eu entendi o que aconteceu. O relógio mede as passadas pelo balanço da mão. Onten eu tava num viço e bati uma 4 vezes - seções longas e tal - e o relógio interpretou como passada.  | HELP NEEDED! Swapped a cockpit on a tri bike and have run into a pickle. The old base bar was 21mm inner diameter, but this new base bar is 19mm. Shimano ST-R9180 now won’t fit due to the wedge being made for 20.5-22.5. The exploded view shows a smaller wedge, Y0C400022, but I just got off the phone with Shimano Tech and they don’t carry, nor have they ever carried, this as a replacement. The product detail page on the consumer site shows it comes with a band that fits 19mm-22.5mm. Of course, this is the only type of base bar brake lever that uses this compression style. So, before I shave this wedge down, does anyone have any broken ones of these lying around that I can take off your hands for the parts? a few days ago i wrote here about my concern of not going under for my surgery. it turns out the doctor who told me i wouldn’t be sedated was a student and got stuff mixed up haha. so yeah i did end up receiving spinal morphine and then midazolam, fentanyl and propofol for sedation. greatest sleep of my life🤠
