2025.02.01 19:00 No_Welder3198 Is anyone else getting nauseous already? I’m around 4 weeks and 4 days and feel like I’m getting beat up already.
I started getting nausea around the day I missed my period and I thought it was just my stomach having problems lol, but two days later I took a test and it was blazing positive so that explains that.
I just wanna complain right now, it’s so early and I’m already feeling the misery of the first trimester. My heart rate is up, I’m exhausted, nauseous, constipated, everything smells stronger, my nips hurt, I’m getting achy cramps. Ugh..

I switched from Sony in 2024 and have been absolutely loving my Leica journey. I'm currently shooting with an M11 + 28mm ASPH lens. I'm planning a road trip to Alaska/Yukon later this year and am conflicted whether to pick up a 90mm (or 75?) lens for the M11 or swap back to Sony + 20-70mm or 24-105mm lens.
I'm most shooting landscape and documenting the multi-week adventure. We spend a lot of time in the backcountry hiking, so I have really grown fond of the Leica form factor. Focusing is now like second nature and I enjoy the croppability of the 60mp sensor. I'd like to be able to have more focal range for this trip and perhaps can rationalize some advantage of having auto-focus.
Appreciate any thoughts/guidance from the community.

Hey everyone, i don't want to come off as cold or having a lack of compassion, but my bff and i argue about this a lot.
She blames medications and a variety of disorders or syndromes for her husband's morbid obesity and obese people in general. I understand that these things make it difficult. I have pcos and weight loss has been a struggle for me, but I don't blame the pcos for my lack of impulse control when I over eat. Tho I understand that health conditions can make you hold fluid and make you feel hungrier than normal.
My issue is that she says the meds and what not directly cause the weight gain, not actually eating too much.
Ie: "He's not eating too much, it's the thyroid problem."
This just doesn't make sense to me at all. CICO is a science that makes sense. Sure, metabolism vary, but at nearly 600 pounds he has to be eating a shit ton of calories to be maintaining that much weight. I'm sure he's holding water but that can't account for the totality of it. He drinks a gallon of milk a day.....
What are your thoughts on this topic? Can medical issues make you gain or hold on to weight without you eating too much? Or is this just an excuse?
