 | Let's first analyze the defects, look at the recoms' ears and compare them to Jake's avatar ears, they are smaller in width and length. Now look at the nose, which in complexion was supposed to be similar to the navi's but has small ripples. (There are characters who are bald/bald even though they are not in the human version. This could also be an effect of the rapid production or an even stronger indication of that they have only been around for a short time) These are small defects but they made a fact clear to me (which was already quite obvious) and helped me ask questions. One fact -Grace certainly didn't participate in their creation and they were made when the third film was ending Two/concert-questions weren't scientists who worked close to Grace since they stayed and... well we know them (or not but not anything that indicates otherwise) so did anyone get the complete manual on how to make a fez quickly and still He found a way to make sure they didn't need someone in charge. Now who did this? Will we see it in the movies or in the comics? Is he or she undercover among the good guys or did he return with the first wave of the RDA? Today I was barely doing anything until... the family party happend. A big one (circa 40 people). Worst of all, there were not as much girls to dance with, as I hoped to be. I was either bored or drinking tea, bothered only with food. At least I'm not hungry. Other things that bothered me were younglings. Some of them shouldn't even drink alcohol but otheres were not giving it as much attention as I. Also I think they were kinda rude towards the waitresses. They were keeping an eye at our needs and they were ignoring them too much. According to my taste and what I was taught in our culture it was a custom to at least reply to other people when ask about something, not just straightly ignoring them. Maybe I'm starting to become old. I returned to home and now I'm complaining about my knees aching.

So Nvidia pulled one of the biggest false advertisement campaigns ever, refused to elaborate and left. 5000 series cards are literal unobtanium.
And 5080 can't even outperform a 4090. A card that's coming to be 3 years old and costs about the same.
Can someone point me to where 5070 will outperform a 4090, please? I knew from the start that "4090 for 599" claim was bullshit, but many kids bought into it. I really want to see their reactions now.

FTHB in a HCOL area. Single, no kids, mid-20s. I toured a home recently and loved it. It was everything I've been looking for, and at a VERY generous price point. No red flags, just motivated sellers. Perfect location, beautiful neighborhood, good HOA, literally the dream, and priced low enough I'd be able to put 20% down and still keep a bit of money invested.
It was looking like a no-brainer until I saw the HOA dues: $550/month. Without those, my monthly payment (mortgage plus insurance plus tax) would have been comparable to what I pay in rent now. With the HOA, combined housing costs would be about 64% of my net income (after all taxes and 401k). Currently I pay just over 50%. I did the math, and if I were to buy this home at my current level of income and spending, I'd only have about $350 of extra money left over each month to save. I could reduce my spending a bit, but I'm already fairly thrifty (don't own a car, don't order food delivery, $20/month phone bill etc.) so not a ton of potential savings, maybe an extra $100/month.
I have a stable job, and will be up for a decent raise in about 2.5 years, which would make things easier. I also have a $15k emergency fund, and a 401k that I'm contributing 5% (with 4% match), so retirement isn't going neglected. The home also has a deeded parking space I don't need, so I'm hoping I could rent it to a neighbor for a couple bucks a month. As a nuclear option, there's a 2nd bedroom, so I could get a roommate to help with costs.
Am I crazy for considering this? If it were anything less than the perfect home at a VERY reasonable price, I'd have walked already. But living frugally for 2.5 years until my income increases, and in the meantime I'm building equity still sounds worth the squeeze. Has anyone else pulled the trigger on a similar situation and have any thoughts to share?
