I testest the camera on the new iPhone and the first thing that I noticed is that the phone is getting hot, fast and the b life is draining like hell. Also the UW camera is very poor with a lot of noise. The photographic styles are life saving, as the processing is overdone. The normal picture are too flat and the colours are not attractive. The 5x camera is pretty poor and the zoom distance not great. I set the camera button to open another photo app, it's impossible to use it with a phone case.

I'm one of Arc browser's former users, and I'm loving Zen so far. Would love this to be my daily driver for years to come. The upcoming rebrand looks awesome, and while I'd love Zen to be in more feature parity with Arc, I think making Zen more stable should be a higher priority!
Browsing this subreddit makes me feel like the dev team might feel pressured to please new users that want Zen to have certain UI features. I just wanted to share my preference on Zen's stability. Zen being more stable would open doors to so many people I know who would be open to trying it.

According to this article, countries like Canada and Australia (I choose these examples specifically because they have several traits in common with the USA that people cite as driving bad public transport, like low population density and lack of damage from World War 2) were moving towards car dependency like the USA, but then changed course partially to have decent public transport, unlike most of the USA now.
Why did this divergence happen? While I've read much about why public transport in the USA is so bad, it tends to focus on earlier in the 20th century when it was more clearly declining.
People also make a big deal about public transport being seen as only for poor people, without explaining why this would be the case more than in other places which used to lack it in quality.
Related, why didn't the oil crisis of the '70s push the USA towards public transport?

I recently bought an Uplift V2 desk (72x30 laminated desktop) with a sidecar shelf mount, and after assembling it, I’ve noticed some pretty frustrating wobble issues.
When I type (and I’m not a hard typer), there’s a noticeable wobble even at a sitting height of 26 inches. It’s even more frustrating when I lean on the desk—just resting my elbow (I’m ~80kg/176 lbs)—because the desk noticeably wobbles, causing my monitor to shake slightly, and it feels like the desk gives in a bit. The wobbling gets slightly worse when standing (42 inches).
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

Despite these efforts, the wobble persists, and it’s driving me crazy. I’d really appreciate some advice:
  1. Are there specific screws or areas I should check again that could be causing this?
  2. Could the sidecar shelf be to blame?
  3. Are there any other troubleshooting steps I can take to figure out what’s causing the wobble? Would making a video be of any help?
  4. Was this kind of wobble to be expected?

i see my boyfriend all day everyday. i never vaped, and actually used to make fun of people that did, until i started dating one. it's been 2 years now of me vaping and i'm ready to let go of this. i want to. i need to. my health has taken a major decline and so has my singing voice. i want my life back and to stop being a slave to this dreadful device. i've talked to my boyfriend about this and he told me he could quit with me but he doesn't want to because he turns 21 in a few weeks and it would be "annoying" to quit when he can finally buy them himself (his brother, 24, buys them for him and i used to, 20F, because no one ID'd me). i know i can't expect or count on him to quit with me, this is my battle and it isn't fair to place any blame or expectations on him. i have to learn how to look at his vapes and say no. i am a ball of anger and restlessness without a vape, and in the mornings, the first thing i think about is hitting his. i always cave. i need some advice in how to navigate this. i have bpd, and it's not realistic for me to not see my boyfriend for a few days for the cravings to pass. i've thought about it, but my greatest addiction in life is him, not the vape. i'm in therapy for my bpd and i know i struggle with codependency. i see this reflected both with my partner and with vaping. i know quitting is all about mindset. i know that withdrawal symptoms are the poison leaving my body and that the anger and restlessness i feel is my brain trying to make me pick up a vape again. the mental symptoms are what make me cave. my brain tells me that once i see my boyfriend, i will vape and my anger will subside. i've never gone a full 24 hours successfully. any advice?
