 | Hi, Thanksgiving morning my husband opened our door and to our surprise there was a black stray cat. My husband HATES cats, and I myself am a dog person as we have 3 dogs. This cat is friendly and super sweet and loves to be pet and held. The cat immediately imprinted on me as I had to hoax it away so my dogs could go potty in the morning and I fell in love but realistically I know I cannot keep it. I decided to make a temporary home for it on my balcony, plan to get it vaccinated and eventually neutered. My only issue is that my husband and I are FIGHTING about me giving it a place to stay. I completely understand my husband but the cat keeps showing up at our front door and I’d rather it be on my balcony out of my dog’s way. I’m also a softie when it comes to animals and this is the first cat that I interacted with lol. I would also like to add that I did take it to the vet already to check for a microchip and nothing. I really like where the game is headed finally, though like many, I still have a lot of remaining criticisms. I don't wanna talk much about that, though. Right now I just wanna share a few things I'd really like to see them add in the future!
- More performing arts buildings, like theaters, opera house, and a concert hall. CS1 never quite satisfied me in this way, either. To me, no city feels complete without a little performing arts district, with a variety of different kinds of venues. The theater in the French pack is cool, but my itch isn't scratched yet!
- More museums. I wanna have a few more museums to add to my central parks and waterfronts!
- Hotel zoning. I'm glad to see the recent adjustments to hotels working... Better than before, but I really don't like having to zone for commercial and pray. I think doing this would also require changes to how tourism operates generally, but I would love to see it.
- Smaller university assets, so I can arrange them together to make a more custom-feeling university campus area. I'm excited for the new college and university assets in the modern architecture pack but from what I can tell, they're still massive
- More subdivided menus. Especially the schools menu. The more schools they add, the more unwieldy that menu is becoming, so I really think there should be separate tabs for each tier of education.
- Combined zoning. Instead (or in addition to) having all these separate zoning tools for different styles, I think we should be able to combine them! For example: If I don't necessarily care whether the mixed use medium-density zoning I'm placing spawns German or French buildings, but want it to be from one of the two, I'd like to be able to multi-select when I'm placing zoning.

Haven't seen a ton this but wanted a post people could search for.
Finally replaced my Firestones this weekend with Yokohama YK-CTX, the exclusive one from Discount Tire. I felt the Michelins were to expensive (160 more for a set) and I wasn't about to buy their eco brand. The black Friday day made them 182/tire, which is cheap. One of the only ones with Temp and Traction rating as A if you care about those things.
I haven't had a tons of miles on them but they are noticably quieter and performs just as good if not better then the Firestones around corners.
It's shocking how much better they are, I expect some improvement but this has me impressed.
