 | Alright… I got my eyebrow pierced the end of August and immediately fell in love!! I feel so cool. Three months of healing go by, all is well, but apparently I went swimming too soon (even though I had my piercers blessing) and it got infected. Tragic. I did a course of antibiotics and cream, and it ended up ok. It’s sometimes a little red in cold weather post-infection. Skip to now, my piercing is red and flaring up out of nowhere. It started after I took a flight last weekend, and has been painful, a little red and swollen on and off ever since. Is this the end if my piercing? What should I do? Curved barbell, it’s been downsized of course, only use piercing spray on it. Picture before hell broke lose, flare up, and last one is today. Everything you think you have ever wanted from your therapist, I had. I felt like I was in paradise.
At 3 years old, I was SA'd. It repeated until I was a teenager. When I looked for therapy, I was dealing with intense suicidal ideation and planning. The first year of our relationship was normal, but soon enough she grew attached to me, and vice-versa. I'm a lesbian and I always let her know I felt an attraction to her, and we began exploring what this meant for me as a victim of CSA. How it made me feel dirty, guilty. It was great. She defined herself as straight and is married to a man, but did her best to understand me and the isolation my sexuality brought me.
As time went on, she began to actually love me as a person. And I was in love with her so I adored it, but I could see it came with a dose of gaslighting and manipulation. She would very clearly hit on me (like telling me I had great legs or how she "loved staring at me"), and then the next week tell me it never happened or that she doesn't remember saying that. Still, we grew closer, to the point where we crossed every ethical line in our therapeutical relationship. An extreme example: she moved States, and that came with a lot of crying for the both of us. I visited her and we hung out for a week. We drank wine together at the beach. I remember it was night and we were laying in the sand, she told me to close my eyes so I could listen to the ocean and when I opened them she was looking lovingly at me. I truly felt like I was in love with her and it hurt as hell because she was married and my therapist. We cuddled, she kissed me a lot (everywhere except lips). She paid for everything.
I began writing erotic stories about the two of us and sending them to her when I came back, she loved it. We lied to ourselves and said this was a therapeutic exercise so I could become comfortable in my sexuality. One day she admitted that she was turned on while reading it, but it had nothing to do with me, it was "involuntary". Suddenly I began having nightmares again and a core memory of my CSA unlocked.
Nowadays my suicidal ideation is worse, and she is distancing herself from me. After 5 years of this, she suddenly grew a conscience and is now acting like a normal therapist and pretending like everything was merely a therapeutical exercise, even the week we spent together was "part of my therapeutic journey".
I was stubborn and thought I was getting everything I ever wanted but nowadays I wish she never crossed those lines with me, 5 years of my life were wasted.

I don’t really know how to explain it exactly. I just feel like I sabotage every little thing that brings me joy. It’s like I’ll meet someone who’s really nice and treats me well, and suddenly I find myself actively trying to ruin it by getting upset at smallest things. It’s almost as if i’ve convinced myself that i deserve to be alone, and so i go and sabotage the whole thing. It’s a vicious cycle of loneliness, finding someone who treats me well and wants to help me, then telling myself i don’t deserve it and then throwing it all away. I seriously deserve to be alone forever, i feel like such a shitty asshole who doesn’t deserve kindness. maybe i’m just so used to people leaving me that i find it less hurtful to just destroy the relationship before they have a chance to abandon me. i don’t know. i dont care either. i’m just putting this out there so you all can see what a fucking shitty horrible person i am.

ik this kinda gross sorry, i have a cold and have been doing that alot, and complained to my mom that the hole on the roof of my mouth is soar from doing it so much cause it’s the easiest way to get the stuff i can’t blow out my nose out, and she seemed shocked and confused. does anyone else do this or am i just some freak of nature?
