Manifest Destiny.. all the way to Mars! Manifest Destiny, really?! And I like how he ranted about all the early American heroes who forged across the land and established colonies and created the country - the Wild West, Cowboys, steelworkers, all these accomplishments of manifest destiny…without one single mention of Native Americans and how the government slaughtered then and went back on agreements with them, murdered their children, etc. And he did throw in “ending slavery” as a tiny little tidbit among all the amazing things that Americans did, but without mentioning the role they were forced to play in creating the nation in the first place. largely built the nation (forcibly). And reversing the official name of Denali, the Native American name, back to Mount McKinley? Dude, gross. Get over yourself. And look, I am certain there is a way to celebrate the accomplishments of many early Americans while also acknowledging the dark realities at the same time. We can acknowledge multiple truths together at the same time. We don’t have to whitewash history and reality. Unless of course that’s our intention.
There are not just 2 genders. For the President of the United States to declare that the official stance of the US government is that there are only 2, is preposterous. He can say just about anything, and it doesn’t make it true. So let’s get that clear. However, he is in a position of power and it’s frightening to hear him declare something like that knowing he likely intends to Impose restrictions on people and their identities, and has the house and the senate to back him up.

How do i know i need a mobility aid? I am young still a teen, I work, i go to school all the normal things for my age but I suspect I may have Fibromyalgia. My mom has it, her mom has it and even my moms mom had it. So considering i have a lot of symptoms its not exactly a reach, My doctors also think its a possibility but they are "to afraid to give such a large diagnosis because it will be on my records (??)" I am in a lot of pain usually and it does effect my life it makes tasks that should be really easy like baths, stairs and other things really draining and hard on me. Ive looked into mobility aids countless times but i feel like the other people using them always have more servere issues then me and im not "disabled" enough to use them. My friend bought me a cane a while ago because i refused to buy one despite thinking it would help because i am too afraid, this really does help take weight off my knees a bit and i can walk much futher distances without being in nearly as much pain. The proplem is ive only used it a handful of times because i have an overwhelming sense of like gulit and shame when i do, It feels almost like Internalized homophobia but like me with a cane. I really want to use it more often but i never feel good about it and i guess im looking for some more opinions from actually disabled folks without feeling as much shame?

i have all kinds of creative hobbies like drawing/painting, embroidery, making dioramas, and photography. i also play guitar and piano, make electronic music, and overall am just a huge enjoyer of music. and i love to spend time outside hiking, swimming, or just walking around town. i love working out, i’ve been running for 12 years now and i love weight training as well. i absolutely love animals, i have a cat and a dog, and have been vegetarian for 7 years now. i’m super interested in legos and other collectibles, like funko pops, plushies, comics, stamps, vintage magazines, and retro consoles. i’m also super into films (particularly horror and drama), and am an avid gamer.
i have a bachelor of science in applied biological sciences and a bachelor of science in psychology, and i’m starting medical school in august. i also did a year of computer science in college before dropping out (to pursue med school), and i still love learning new programming languages and algorithms and using them to create programs and implement them into my own projects. i’m also a polyglot (english, french, german, russian, hebrew, ASL).

I'm thinking which one to get. Need advice from people who has more knowledge about these watches.
I go on multi-day hikes. I run a few times a week. I workout a few times a week.
I'm looking for a watch that has solar charging capability so I won't have to charge when hiking. I just don't know if the Instinct 2x Solar (or maybe wait for the Instinct 3 to be released in our country) is enough for me or I should go for the Forerunner 955 Solar.

Ik had al eerder een post gemaakt over een hoofdtelefoon die pijn deed en men reageerde met dat een over-ear hoofdtelefoon beter is. Zo was het ook maanden. Ik gebruikte een Bose QC45. Ik had echt geluk dat mijn vader die eerder had gekocht voor zichzelf maar niet gebruikte. Maar nu doet de hoofdtelefoon wel pijn. Draadloze oortje die in het oorkanaal gaat valt eruit. En oortjes met draad, maar die niet in het oorkanaal gaan zijn te hard en doen dus pijn. Kan het probleem met de hoofdtelefoon de druk zijn. Zo ja welke hoofdtelefoons drukken niet veel op de oor. Ik heb kleine oren en een klein montuur als dat uitmaakt.
