2025.01.22 10:00 XIIIJinx A thought occurred to me about card acquisition in Marvel Snap
I know people complain about card acquisition in this game so I should have realized earlier but it JUST occurred to me that this is the only mobile game I've ever played where, no matter how much I play, without spending money, I won't ONLY never get every card but I'll slowly get further and further away from having every card. That realization SUCKS. I've bought the season pass most of the seasons, I play every day and I'm STILL getting further away from having a complete collection.
I think this realization has made me decide not to spend any more money on the game, because, no matter how much I try, if I don't pay up for it, I'll NEVER have ever card.

Hi I'm new to this sub so forgive me if this is a silly question (lots to learn!). I'm looking to put scrypted on an older Mac running 10.15.7, it currently runs 24/7 with HomeAssisant and WeatherCat and doesn't do much else. My aim is to bring my cameras (2xNest and a Hikvision) into HomeKit. So, am I hoping for too much and are there any pitfalls I should avoid? Thanks in advance.

My son has driven a few times since he was seven, out on my grandparents farm out west. He is very tall and has been able to reach the pedals, steer and see clearly over the steering wheel since then. Since he enjoyed it so much, I was hoping to take him out again, but it's a long way away and I was looking for something closer.
Usually, he sits on my lap and operates the steering wheel while I do the brake / accelerator and can take over the steering wheel if required.
I've thought of Archerfield raceway, but he is autistic and very sensitive to noise. My other thought was some sort of 4WD track or park where driving is allowed. Obviously, I'm not going to take him on actual roads. We have an SUV.

My name is Nicki and I work customer service. Every few days someone asks what it's short for, and every now and then a customer just decides to start calling me by a random name they think is my full name (which confuses me every single time because I don't even realize they're talking to me lol).
It's a running joke at this point to give a different 'full name' every time, specifically when they're rude about it lol, but I'm running out of names.
I want obscure names, historical names, nerdy names, normal names that usually aren't shortened to Nicki, etc. gender doesn't matter.
One of my favourites I came up with was Phoenix, cause It's got a 'nicks' sound in it so it counts lol

Having bought the entire remastered series on Steam (both Trilogies, Investigations Collection, and GAA Chronicles), I am currently on a full marathon of re-experiencing those beloved games all over again—I just now completed Case 2 of T&T. Unfortunately, among the HD graphics I've come to appreciate after years of skepticism, and the various little retranslations that improved the overall quality of the script while fixing some mistakes... typos are still very much a thing. Enough of them in the first Trilogy alone that I am now making this post (and from what little I've looked up, the other games are apparently no less prone to such errors... including the newly-translated Prosecutor's Gambit, even).
After a bit of research, it appears that mods that would set out to fix those typos have never really been considered so far, despite text editing seemingly being one of the few things that are known to be possible (at least for the original Trilogy, I believe?). Hence, I would like to ask those in the know about details regarding the potential creation of such mods—whether some are already in the works somewhere, whether it's actually more complex than it seems, and any other related information that may exist out there.
Because while I would know nothing about the technical side of such a project, I would be prepared and willing to participate in a thorough re-treading of every last piece of in-game text, in order to correct typos, touch up some wonky punctuation, and so on—single-handedly, if I have to.
