Desculpa se parecer meio Narnia esse post, mas trabalho presencial na gringa, a empresa não é uma FAANG mas tenta se comportar como tal, aqui sou bem tratado pra c******, psicológico, nutricionista, restaurante na firma com boas refeicoes, boa academia, boa remuneração e boas politicas de crescimento, porem o que eu vejo da maioria da galera que está aqui o sentimento é tipo “aqui é bom, mas o destino final é SFO", quando que o IT virou esse "mercado do futebol" ? Eu sei que o dinheiro de Palo Alto é absurdo, mas toda hora tem um layoff, é realmente verdade que uma vez que tu "chega la" tua empregabilidade fica tao facil assim que tanto faz os layoffs ? Eu fico com medo de enconstar meu boi na sombra e acabar "saindo do mercado" por "jogar uma liga menor" e nao perseguir SFO como destino final.
Enfim sei que pra galera que ta na merda (98% que posta nesse sub) esse post pode gerar um pouco de raiva, mas como li que quem ta de boa não posta, queria ver se alguem se encontra no mesmo barco

I’ve posted this to 2 other tech support subreddits and haven’t received a response so now it’s here.
I'll try to simplify this the best I can - Last week I reinstalled windows by turning off the internet, and booting the installation from a thumb drive. I formatted all drives, and did a fresh install. Once windows was installed, I used another thumb drive to install drivers - still with no internet.
After about 2 days, any time I would open a game, my main monitor that displays the game would go black. If I alt+tabbed out, or was able to click onto my other monitor the main monitor would go back to normal. Also if I right click on Wallpaper Engine in my tray to get the settings open the screen turns black until i click onto my other monitor to close the right click menu.
I've tried completely wiping graphics drivers, and reinstalling with the Nvidia APP about 4 times now. When I reinstall everything is solid for the day, until I turn my pc off and come back the next day it starts happening all over again until I reinstall the drivers again. PC Specs GPU is an EVGA RTX 2060s

Hello, wondering how other sysadmins deal with this,
we have several network providers and datacenters, and also AWS that routinely send out maintenance notifications
its now at a point where we miss stuff or miss an email and we got caught with an outage a few times.
I tried to automate maint notifications to create google calendar events, ie a maint email comes in, my js script parses it, and creates a calendar event for a specific "Maintenance" calendar, so the whole team can see whats scheduled for next few weeks. Its hacky af, and the regex I have to use is messy since every provider has their own style of email, ie providerA has 01/25/2025, another in Asia has 25/01/2025, etc - there is not standard API format for these emails
wondering how other admins deal w this and how you automate notifications for these. Thanks
