This is just kind of a funny story. I’ve been having gallbladder attacks for a minute, so I finally went to the doctor and I got an ultrasound done. They checked my gallbladder, pancreas, liver, and kidney. Well, I got my results back and thankfully my gallbladder is doing all right supposedly. However, my right kidney has a stone in it that the ultrasound picked up. Thankfully, I don’t have pain from the kidney stone right now. I’m not 100% convinced about the gallbladder thing, but I do have an appointment with my urologist now about said Kidney stone. I’m only concerned because ultrasounds don’t usually pick up small kidney stones. So I’m curious on what size this one is going to be. Haha

My course spans three years, divided into six semesters, and I’ve successfully completed three. However, I’m now at a standstill, struggling to move forward. My family in Nepal used to support me financially with my semester fees. They are farmers, relying on crops, livestock, and the land for their livelihood. But a devastating flood struck our home country just a few months ago, leaving many, including my family, in ruins. Their income source has been wiped out. Now, I find myself alone, overwhelmed with the weight of circumstances beyond my control. My semester fee is overdue, and I don’t know what to do. If I can’t pay it soon, my visa will be canceled, and I’ll be forced to leave Australia and abandon my education. We have already invested so much for me to be here. Returning home now, empty-handed, would destroy me—and my family. I’ve tried everything. I’ve reached out to organizations, explored loan options, and even contacted my university for assistance. But as an international student, I’m not eligible for any financial aid or loans. I can’t even take a break from my studies, as the rules for international students don’t allow it. I feel trapped in a system with no way out. My family is in a dire situation, injured and hospitalized, and I cannot be with them. They’re willing to give me what little they have left, but it’s nowhere near enough. Every day feels heavier than the last. I’m drowning in despair, and I feel like I have no one to turn to. The thought of continuing has become unbearable. At just 20 years old, the pressure of this situation is crushing me. I feel utterly lost.
I have tried many options. International students are allowed to work only 24hrs per week which is not enough as I have to pay it by a month. I have tried for installment plan, gap year or a semester break but nothing can be done. I am suffering. I have tried for loan option but nothing is eliglible for me as I dont have a good paid job and I am a student.I really dont wanna go back as we have spent too much of money for my studies.

In asking this question, I’m wondering if you’ve ever met any famous people more organically - as in not at a celebrity event/red carpet type of situation? Like, out on the street!
I’ll go first:
- Lisa Loeb (1995-ish). I ran into her at a record shop in my hometown when she was on tour after Stay was on the Reality Bites soundtrack. She was by herself, shopping, and I was like, “Are you Lisa Loeb??” She was very nice and down-to-earth.
- Silverchair (Feb 1997). My best friend in high school and I met the whole band on the street in Detroit. We were there to see them (utterly obsessed!) and we arrived so early at the venue that when their tour buses pulled up, and they walked out from behind them, we nearly fainted. We talked to them briefly and then proceeded to freak out! It’s was awesome.
- Colin Farrell (2008). I walked by him in the Dublin airport.
- Patrick Dempsey (2011). He walked by me on the street in Montréal. I was completely obsessed with Grey’s Anatomy at the time so this was a big deal.
- Stuart Townsend (2012). He was sitting right next to me at the bar at Grillmarkaðurinn in Reykjavík. I was like, “I know you from somewhere.” He just smiled coyly. Later, after I had left the restaurant and walking back to my hotel, I yelled, “OMG! Stuart Townsend!” Honestly, I was less excited about him but rather I was sitting next to the ex of Charlize Theron. Lol.
- Gord Downie (2013-ish). I saw him in the audience at The Hoxton in Toronto at A Tribe Called Red show. I chickened out when I went to try and say hello. I don’t know, I didn’t want to bother him. As a Canadian, I regret it now.

Briefly going down a Sierra music rabbit-hole, I saw that Ken Allen once had a kickstarter to re-produce a bunch of tracks from the earlier games. It appeared to have stalled due to multiple factors, but I wondered that since I can't really find much of a reference to it post-2016, does anyone know if the there was any update to this?
Moreover, apart from Siebert's "Sierra Soundtrack Collection" (and Phatasmagoria 2 tracks), has there been any other unofficial-official Sierra game music releases?
I'm well aware of the myriad of YouTube videos and sites that offer MT32, CM64L or GM versions of the original game music, but I'm referring more to re-produced tracks.
