Now I wanna draw attention to the haunted nature of it. As I remember when I was exploring, I felt as if I was being watched and I felt uncomfortable.

2025.01.30 06:42 Manufacturer_Ornery Mafia 3 could've had a full story DLC for racing
I'm currently playing through Mafia 3, and as seems to be the prevailing opinion around here, the gameplay is fun, but occasionally repetitive, and the world is indeed incredibly immersive. However, there is one small aspect that seems to be lacking, which I think could've added another layer to it.
The muscle car craze of the late 1960s and early 1970s led to a huge shake-up in American cars culture. Sure, we already had home-built hot rods created from once-boring passenger cars, but these were built for speed and fun straight from the factory, and still had tons of aftermarket options for even more horsepower. These new machines caught on verywhere, from the drag strip, to the oval and road track, even to our own main streets. That is where the game comes in.
Mafia 3, in my opinion, is very good at making its American muscle cars feel heavy and powerful. They spin the tires every time you hit the gas, their big engines actually sound powerful (more so than a lot of racing games), and the cosmetic modifications are actually period correct (also more so than a lot of racing games). Racing and car mods were expanded with the free update, of course, but they could've taken it even further on top of that.
A full DLC about street racing could've added more cosmetic options, a free update that let us tinker with our cars more performance-wise, and missions about, for example, competing in an underground racing tournament, or even an official racing circuit with a moonshine-related subplot. Moonshine running is how NASCAR got started after all, so we could've actually run some 'shine in our own racecars, instead of just stealing trucks from the Dixie Mafia. Imagine winning a race at an oval dirt track in a hopped-up Samson Drifter, the stands packed with people cheering as you cross the finish line and accept your hard-won money in the winner's circle. Then, later that night, you stop by the Burkes' and load some jars of white lightning into your Drifter's trunk, and you speed through the bayou to deliver it to a customer, dodging revenue agents, rival bootleggers, and even those pesky Dixie Mafia guys all the while. It would've been sweet. Of course, it'll never happen now, but it could've been great.

I seen a post somewhere a few weeks ago about Capricorns usually end up regretting their tattoos. I was bummed because I do love my tattoos, most of them I am regretful because one is impulsive, one I grew out of its simplicity, 4 others just look not that well done. I would want to get more but I’m waiting to gain weight but I’m also fearful of my tattoos not really being cohesive. Anyways what’s your experience?

2025.01.30 06:42 edd_enigma Constant pressure was literally the easiest thing to counter in the game.
Now I agree it needed a stamina punishment for using it but it was nowhere near as bad as this community made out because you could see it a mile off and counter it easily.
I never used it because any formation with wingers could easily expose it and I'll explain why.
I play 433 and if I noticed constant pressure was being used by my opponent I'd simply play it out wide and watch their full back and defender run at my winger leaving my striker wide open every time. When defending I'd win the ball but instead of trying to play forwards I'd turn my back on the play and hold shield then lay it off to my full back, again from here it was one pass to winger or striker and then lay it off again and be clean through.
Also just walking with the ball in central areas you could easily side step players rushing at you or again lay it out wide.
I'll bet quite a lot of people on here playing with wingers found constant pressure the easiest thing to deal with on UFL, it was far easier to counter than on FC that's for sure.
in my opinion it wasn't the big deal some of you made it out to be in fact now we'll probably see 5 at the back with cdms dropping back to form banks of 7.

2025.01.30 06:42 rcentros Instead of a shell script, a very .deb file for installing Trelby
For some reason, and I don't know why, the regular Trelby .deb install file (which can now be found on Trelby.org) has issues when clicking the Menus (also, currently, you have to install python3-reportlab separately — sudo apt install python3-reportlab — or you'll get a "module not found error"). Which is why I prefer the shell script (posted a couple messages back) — it's easier and gives you a simple and Trelby install without the delays when clicking the Menu.
For convenience, I've "created" a .deb file for installing the Git version of Trelby. This will not install in your home directories, it will install under the /usr directory instead. I've tested this on Ubuntu, Debian and Linux Mint.
The .deb file can be downloaded here. It's a very small file (only 21 KB) that downloads the dependencies needed for Trelby 2.4.14, clones the source files via Git, inserts a Trelby.desktop into /uslocal/share/applications directory, and copies the manual.html file in the correct directory. Once it installs, you'll either have to log out and log back in, or hit ALT-F2, then r, to reset the desktop. Once you do that your Trelby entry will show under "Office" in your Menu (if you're using Cinnamon, Mate or Xfce — in Ubuntu it just shows up at the end of the other applications — I don't use Ubuntu, so I tend to overlook these differences).
Just for your peace of mind, you can open up the .deb file before installing it and check out what text files are in it. Just use "open with Archive Manager" (in Linux Mint) and I think "File Roller" in Ubuntu (probably depending on what Desktop you're using).
This works like a "real install," which can uninstalled via Synaptic (though the trelby directory under /usr will not be deleted (since it's loaded with a "postinst" shell script. You'll be running an uncompiled python program, so you won't be able to type "trelby" in the shell to start it. It's like running the Git install of Trelby, but the files are in a different location (apparently .deb installation files can't install to the home directory — at least I don't know how to do it, this is the first .deb package file I've built and, obviously, don't know a lot about it).
At any rate, it seems to work well. Please let me know if you have any questions or issues.

I'm not new to the game I am a Top/Jungle Main here looking to play/learn the ADC role. Looking for a support who just wants to have fun and won't be to mean when I screw up. I find ADC Characters fun when I played them in aram so I played some in Top lane. After making all my teammates upset I realized I need to just play them in Bot. I played Jhin, Ezreal, and Aphelios in Top lane so I will be playing them, also Ezreal is not that bad in Top Lane I swear. We can start off in norms and go into rank once I get the hang of it, I'm not that toxic and I just play for fun. If your new to the game or support role I think it would be really fun, we can both be bad together. Also I prefer Voice Calls when playing and I'm 23 so I prefer not to play with anyone underage.

The recent Q4 data was pretty weak for Tesla. I wonder what factors led to weaker sales. Speaking for myself having owned three Model Ys, I feel like it was one of the best engineered cars I’ve ever driven but are now enjoying our R1S. We need to replace 4Runner that has 220k miles and won’t die but also doesn’t have all the nifty safety features of modern cars.
That being said, I had previously considered a 4th Model Y to replace the 4Runner as a no-brainer. With Elon pursuing so much seemingly anti-democratic action, I’ve decided against buying Tesla until Tesla separates ties with Elon. There are more choices today than there were in 2020 and with our current lineup of cars, we have the fortunate luxury to wait.
Has Elon’s political activity swayed you one way or the other with regards to buying/keeping Tesla? I used to say, there are hundreds of thousands of employees dedicated to Tesla’s original mission but even that doesn’t feel like it’s enough anymore to overcome Elon pulling at the loose threads of civilization.
