Since the DLC, there has been nonstop revisions of what we know about Marika, the Two Fingers, and the Greater Will as a whole. This has completely redone the known timeline for the game, and made many previously held theories obsolete.
But the source of information that has led to this revision is Count Ymir. At best they’re unstable, and at worst they’re completely crazy. The loss of a child has pretty clearly driven him mad with grief, leading to the obsession with becoming a worthy mother.
The idea of unreliable narrators isn’t something much explored in Elden Ring, pretty much everything everyone says can be taken at face value. But is it possible that Ymir is just wrong? He’s been driven desperately mad in a way that no other character truly has been, so I can’t shake the feeling that maybe his interpretation of event isn’t flawed.

I don't really like "tool" watches, and mechanical dress watches are cool, but digital dress watches are fucking awesome. Unfortunately, there are few vintage models that meet this criteria, and even fewer that are still being made. But of the scouring that I've done, no watch line has ever managed to catch my eye the same way that the Casio Film series does. Square, refined, and thin cases; unique dials that offer many incredible ways to tell the time; and timeless designs that, in my opinion, are second to none. And so why, with all of these incredible features, would anyone in their right mind discontinue this line? Was it just unpopular? If it was, than I can guarantee that it wouldn't still be unpopular today. You may have already seen in game (or on Discord if you are there too) that there will be a maintenance period on January 21, 2025 starting at 4 AM Eastern / 1 AM Pacific / 9 AM UTC. This is supposed to last around 3 hours.
Territories will fully reset at that time. The new Territory Takeover season will start on the same day at Noon Eastern / 9 AM Pacific / 5 PM UTC.
Sorry this took me a bit to get posted. IRL got in the way a bit today. Hope everyone is having and has a great weekend!

2025.01.18 01:53 Rykaii_ Valve clearance
So I am working with a 1UZ with SOB setup and I decided to mess with the valve clearance to help with the noise and odd compression I been dealing with. After a few days swapping shims the engine runs horribly with multiple dead misfires and backfire out the exhaust. I had a successful run once but ran horribly the next day.
I'm not sure if I improperly shimmed the valves or have a timing issue. It runs like there is a massive air leak and bogs down when accelerating or revving, sometimes stalling.
