Hi I need urgent advice regarding what to do if I threw away a broken wrist amulet from Waterloo temple!!
My wrist amulet (the kind that looks like a permanent woven bracelet) was given to me by my grandma who got it from the temple at Waterloo street. It’s been blessed by Guanyinma and I have been wearing it for years until it broke off by itself.
I know now in hindsight this is very stupid of me but I threw the broken amulet away thinking that there was nothing wrong since it was broken already. And I threw it down the rubbish chute somemore :(
But after checking with my grandma, she said I was supposed to burn it instead of throwing it away. Since I can’t retrieve it from the rubbish chute, is there anything I can do in the meantime before I head back to the temple to pray and apologise? I can only go to the temple on Friday and I am currently panicking heavily because I don’t want any misfortune or bad luck to fall on me or my family due to my stupid mistake :((

2025.01.29 20:32 xXRetroCollectorXx (M4F) Searching For A D&D-inspired Roleplay (Info Below)
Essentially, I had a full blown idea thought out for a roleplay which in this case would include the genres of romance, fantasy, smut and some others.
For the setting, I was thinking of having the roleplay be set in a fantasy world that would be in a sort of Victorian Era. The old medieval setting would have been seen as the 'Dark Age', a time where wars, pestilence, and other tragedies yielded terrible things to come for the citizens of the varied kingdoms. But as time progressed and great thinkers started questioning the world order, a time of invention came to pass. At the start of their Industrial Revolution, further advancements into technology, medicine, and overall knowledge began to improve the lives of the people. Newer technologies such as trains, steamboats, and even airships were powered through magic, as well as better methods for agriculture were thought up of. Not to mention, though the research of artificers and clerics, better medical practices and medicine were inducted.
Despite what many would soon call the 'Golden Age' had brought, this was still a time of uncertainty. Although the benefits these new developments brought improved the lives of many, it also brought along a terrible factor: the increasing lust for power and control as militaries across the land grew more powerful, resulting in tense political relations between kingdoms. Not to mention, as advancements were made, there were also changes in how varied races were seen in hierachies. Humans, being the most common they were, held much of the power and had shared it with the elves and dwarves. Other races such as the dragonborn, halflings, half-elves, and few others were also in a good status, however their influence and power in society were very limited. But for the tieflings, orcs, and the other lesser races, they were greatly looked down upon by the higher statuses and were more often than not dealt a bad hand, usually leading to some illicit activities and other ways of survival.
Despite this, some seek change and improvements to the new world order, hoping to change things for the better in regards to the lower classes and higher classes.

So for scenarios, there are many that can be made in this kind of setting, but some of the ones I've found interesting so far are:
- Royalty and Royal Guard: As a member of one of the varied kingdom's royalties, it is only natural that a guard be assigned to them to protect them. But of all the forbidden relationships that could come from this, a romance between a royal and a guard isn't highly looked upon, but that has never stopped one from partaking in such.
- Enemies to Lovers: During times of war, it isn't uncommon for one soldier to be captured by the forces of an opposing kingdom, or for one to happen upon another in a combat zone. But in violent times, there are also those who still hold onto a semblance of hope and pacifism. Whether they first despise one another or hold uncertain views towards each other, there is a chance they may put aside their differences to learn from one another. Perhaps, they may find that they may care for the other, unknowing of why.
- Some other scenario: We can make something up together if you're liking something else that is different from the others. Whatever you choose/decide, we can always discuss in detail of what we want.

2025.01.29 20:32 theoenogo PS5 disconnecting from WiFi after several hours in rest mode
I've had my Portal for a few months now and it has been amazing. My PS5 was originally hardwired to my router but I recently moved and I am unable to directly connect my PS5 anymore so I have to use WiFi.
I've checked all my system settings such as stay connected to wifi when in rest mode and allow waking from remote devices, everything is on. If I recently put my PS5 into rest mode then I can wake it from my Portal. However, after several hours, I can see that my PS5 is no longer being registered on my network and subsequently my Portal can't wake it up and I need to manually turn on my PS5.
Its not a huge issue when I am at home, mostly an annoyance, but it will make the Portal useless when I am away. I've browsed previous threads with similar issues but really couldn't find a good consensus or solution. Anyone have any methods for how to keep the PS5 connected to WiFi on rest mode for more than a few hours?
My internet provider is Quantum Fiber

If I put “green out” in the title it thinks I’m asking for Medical advice, but this already happened and I’m good now. Just hoping to share my experience and see if others have ever experienced exactly what I did.
Anyways, about 2 years ago, I (20F) got my hands on some gummy edibles and did fine with them. They got me super fucked up, but it was the nice kind of fucked up. Since then I’ve smoked pretty frequently and assumed my tolerance had probably increased a bit. So, yesterday I planned to get together with some friends and we were gonna bake a cake and decorate it and try these new edibles my friend got. They were just 50mg, and I’ve smoked at least once a week, most of the time more, for the last year. Totally thought I could handle it. But oh no, was I wrong.
It hit me in just about 30 minutes. Like before the cake was even out of the oven, which was odd because I expected them to take a couple hours like the ones I had before. The first thing to hit me was the dizziness. I literally felt like I was spinning and couldn’t tell what direction my body was facing. It felt like my head would turn in slow motion. That’s when the realization hit me that I took too much. My boyfriend and our friend noticed pretty quick that something was wrong because I was literally just frozen sitting there and could barely move.
The most miserable part was what came next. I started getting the worst cotton mouth I’ve ever experienced in my life. It started with my mouth, and then my throat started feeling like it was on fire. I could feel it go further down like I was feeling the back of my tongue get dry and then my throat and down in my chest. At this point I was just begging to get the cake out of the oven because in my mind it would help with my throat (idk why I didn’t go for water lol.) We finally got the cakes out of the oven and the plan was to layer them but I couldn’t wait. We slapped the icing on them and I immediately scarfed down half of the first cake.
The edible kept hitting me in what felt like waves. After eating HALF of a cake 😭, my chest started hurting and I could feel my pulse. That was the start of a panic attack. I kept laughing and then sobbing and repeating things I had said over and over in my head. It was funny at first but then I felt trapped and started to cry. I was also majorly embarrassed and cried over that too lol. My boyfriend doesn’t understand this but I kept having weird sexual thoughts, almost like intrusive horny thoughts, pop into my head and scared myself. That was probably the peak of the high.
I finally started to come down when I sat on the couch. Every time I would tilt my head back I felt myself falling, the room still spinning. I’m like 90% sure I experienced “brain zaps”, which people say is a side effect of SSRIs. And as soon as I felt them come on, I threw up everywhere. The funniest part is that the cake was a funfetti box cake. So my vomit was just like that funfetti cake batter. My friends got a good laugh cleaning it up with the rainbow sprinkles.
After puking, I immediately fell asleep. Woke up around 5 am and ate the other half of the second cake. And then slept again until 8.
In conclusion, I probably won’t be trying edibles again. Like ever.
