Hello,
I was wondering, with buying a home as expensive as it is in most of Miami-Dade. Has anyone taken the path of buying land and building their home? If so did you end up saving money vs buying a established home in your comparables? I know there are lot of things to consider and building here has tons of caution but I'm not looking for that.
I'm just looking for ROM if you came out ahead or not and by roughly how much if you bought land and built in it vs buying a established home. Appreciate any feedback.

My ex and I have two younger children (elementary age). She recently met someone online through a mobile game and have only conversed on the phone and facetime. She has actively involved the children in communicating with him. I was only informed by my kids about that. They are convincing everyone they know online that they are married and she is currently with child (neither being true).
This person claims to be military and she and the kids believe him because they have seen a picture with him wearing a uniform.
She is planning to take them across the country for spring break to meet him. I am worried about this being a scam, and i do not want to see my children come to any harm, or my ex for that matter.
The kids have told me his name and his phone number. Is there a way for me to find out if he is truly in the military? I hope there are some parents out there who understand how I am feeling about this situation.
For those who will comment that I just need to have a conversation with my ex, this is not the first time shes met a guy online and involved the kids right away, luckily the guy ended up being harmless and she broke it off with him when she started talking to this guy.
I have the utmost respect for the men and woman in uniform who serve this country. I just want to know my children are not in any danger.

Self-bounce decks are some of the most popular decks these days in standard tournaments and events. What are some ways people are adapting to these decks? What types of decks do well against them? Not looking for things like include Baloths in the sideboard (that is obvious and I am not sure the right play overall anyway unless you are playing Golgari maybe).
