I haven't heard a decision from Columbia yet, but was anxious about funding. Unfortunately, I originally thought that the priority deadline was 1/15 and didn't submit until 12/23. Has anyone been able to secure a merit scholarship despite applying after 12/1? I haven't seen anything in past data, so it would really help ease my mind!

I placed an order for a gas shock and a fan motor kit from them on January 15. Today is January 30. They emailed days after the online order was placed to tell me they canāt send to the address provided. I offer another address and they say that works. They call me a few more days later to tell me that since we changed the address they had to cancel the original order and make a new orderā¦ now they need my credit card info again. I give them this. Now weāre at over a week. A few days go by and no tracking number so I call. They canāt figure out where the order is, so they cancel and re do the order with the approved address. They agreed to overnight the item for free. Next day they email stating the address is residential and canāt ship. I call and confirm that they indeed do have the correct address. Iām told theyāll put in a ticket to request that it can be shipped. At 15 days, i still have nothing and they have all the correct information they need but still canāt guarantee Iāll have it on time. I canceled the order and wonāt ever fall for their BS again.

Hi all,
I'm trying to organise broadband for a new house but the fact they do a credit check is scaring me slightly.
My house sale and buy is due to complete on Monday and we have exchanged contracts etc and the mortgage provider have released the funds. Also received a welcome letter from the by email etc.
As the funds have been released will the lender do any further checks before Monday?

Hi, Iām finishing up my free trial, trying out Maia Henryās program. My question is, the challenges seem to be a set number of weeks/workouts. What happens when you complete said challenge? Do the coaches have a ton of different programs and do they just automatically move down the list of their predetermined workouts for that program? Itās a little confusing to me. Is there never a time where you can pick and choose your own workout?

I have a student loan in the amount of $123k at Prime +0.25%.
I am currently doing independent work via my corporation. Anticipated income is around $220,000.
Do I just aggressively pay off my loan or remain in a lower tax bracket by keeping money in the corporation and repaying the loan over a longer period?
For reference, I paid around $8k in interest last year (Prime was clapping my cheeks).
I would be paying way more than that in taxes if I just took the entire corporationās income as salary. Is there a sweet spot of lower tax bracket/repayment amount?
This is my first year doing work through a corporation (Iāve only ever been salaried), so I am a bit clueless.
My accountant advises a $85k take-home salary. I was thinking of a higher take-home salary so I can rid myself of this headache of a loan.
Appreciate the advice!

Not sure what to do. Me and my wife like to play Super Mario Party but we had trouble with one of the remotes not working. We figured it was the controller itself, so we bought new ones. Lo and behold, one of the new ones is doing the exact same thing as the other! IE - disconnects constantly, controls won't work during critical Mario Party time lol. It gets so bad we just have to turn off the game. What other issue could be causing a brand new controller not to work?

I'm applying from a small town in a 3rd world country, the schools are really crappy and shady. I am the first person to apply to colleges in the states from my school; they don't even have a domain name for their email/website it's really shady. The teaching is shit, they hardly know the subject themselves. It's a sleepy town where everyone takes a nap at 2:00 p.m after a hearty lunch. There are 0 oppurtunities to have any extracurriculars let alone research and internships. Nobody takes the SAT, there's no peer group for those applying to the states, I was all alone in this.
But I made it dammit, I did research for 9 months based on a passion project, I got an internship at a bigger city, I did community service at a village 60 miles from my town, I studied for the SAT and got above a 1500, I self studied AP Calc BC in 2 months and got a 5.
I got accepted to my dream schools like UT Austin and Purdue, I'll be the first person from my school to attend a school like those, from a small town in a 3rd world country to the US of A

good everyone,
Today I had a frustrating experience trying to get an RTX5080 fe. Since 2 o'clock I have burned the f5 both in the Spanish marketplace and in the Nvidia shop. I have also tried with the mobile. The first page to load was on mobile. After clicking on "see purchase options", it took me to another Nvidia page where it told me that the stock would be available shortly. I continued refreshing until out of nowhere it said "Sold Out", around 3:15 p.m. I continued refreshing the pages on the computer until it finally loaded at 3:25 p.m. to see the "out of stock" status directly.
I don't understand this. I don't know if it was because of the purchase bots, or what could have happened, but it is very unfair to be on time and not be able to buy it.
I would like to know if any of you have had better luck!

Neither of them has loaded until 3:25 p.m. I have to say that it charged me on my cell phone, and told me that stock would start shortly.
