[rant]") | Why aren't there much artists from Punjabi backgrounds, in each field, be it painting, writing, singing or acting. There are few exceptions but you know the number isn't huge. Even our houses, we don't have much speciality in our houses, its solely copied from other cultures. In painting i can't even name 1 punjabi painter, in writing there were Shiv Batalvi, Chetan Bhagat, Paash and few others, in acting if you count Dharminder then him other than that nothing. We don't have any big directors in film industry or screenwriter or anything you name. This problem is so deeply rooted that we don't even have quality content creators, most shittiest and cringiest content creators on planet no originality. I can't name a single punjabi content creator which I watch, YouTube or Instagram. Even in music, everything sounds same, I get they are making commercial music for the masses but I can't name a single artists who is creating art. People in other industries across India are putting up great albums with concepts, their album covers has deeper meanings, have easter eggs, references and what do we get? a basic portrait of artist with album name. What I fear is people take this casually, ok i understand it's not such a huge problem, there are bigger and much more serious problems in our society but nobody even addresses this problem, we don't have artists, what is stopping us from creating art which resembles our culture, which showcase our culture. A few months ago I had an odd encounter with an old man at the park, I told my husband about it because some of the things he said/behaviour rubbed me the wrong way. After that, I've met him several times at different hours and different areas of the park(the park is huge). Taking a shortcut through some trees, I've caught the old man a couple times in the bushes/trees facing the direction of where I often play with my dog and other dog owners. I stopped going to this park for months during the summer but last week I caught him again in the bushes, he acted like he was accidentally there. Another day last week I was walking at a different time in the day and different area and he came running after me. I discussed this with my husband again and also with a friend and they both told me it will not be useful to tell the park police because he hasn't done anything. My friend said it will be more effective to bring my husband, but I have my doubts because my stalker only comes out when others I know are not around. I'm starting to get really annoyed, especially since I know I'm being watched. I love the park it's beautiful but also it's the biggest green area in the city center and my dog can socialize and relieve some stress. What should I do, should I give the park police a map of where to find him and asked them if they can patrol more? Anyone else has had a similar situation?

Hey all, I’m in Minneapolis and my wife and I have both recently gotten more into wine. We get together with a friend group once a month but no one really cares that much about how they taste and frankly aren’t willing to spend anything above $20.
It’s still a blast and I’ll continue doing that, but I’m wondering how people find wine tasting groups? Are there any websites or meetup groups? My wife and I are thinking of doing the wset 2 for fun next year and really want to taste thoughtfully with a fun group of people!
